  1. I purchased 6 bags in one transaction and didn't have any problems. I don't know if it made a difference to the cashier, but all my coupons were in color (I used 3 different computers to print out coupons), so there weren't any question whether or not they were copies.

$5.99 is the regular price of wipes at my Target.

I tried to print one this morning and the website said it exceeded it's limit.:(:no::no:

  2. It might be the way that your store handles it, but I don't believe that it's 'company' policy. Mostly, if something is out of the system, it usually means it's salvaged and they do not HAVE to sell it to you. Many stores WILL sell it, however, it isn't always up to the customer to name their price. And I don't believe that it is any Target store's 'policy' to negotiate on their prices. Some people are lucky and are able to do that with the right cashiers, but it is definitely YMMV on that.

Please if someone can verify that policy, I would appreciate it. It's very annoying when I find INS hoping they would sell it to me, but end up going home empty handed.:no::no::no:

  3. Sure, but it should not matter. which size were you looking at? And was it Color Wonder, or some other Crayola product. the ones on sale were about 5x7" in size not the 8x11". In any case, these are all getting pulled now. There was a markdown team member cruising the store looking for salvage stuff today at one of my regular stores.

I am so angry at Target... I went to Target with the intention on just getting the Crayola things. I was planning on donating them to my sons' teacher. Well, I found 2 backpacks someone had mentioned earlier and a color wonder. It rang up 'NOT FOUND' so I told the lady at the register that it's 75% off and that I had bought some from another Target for 2.49. She said she had to check and came back and told me that it's full price. WHAT!!!!! I walked out very upset.. A lot of times they don't give me a hard time about it, but this time they gave me an attitude about it. I always thought if I find an item that comes up 'NOT FOUND', it's automatically 75% off. Do they really pull those from the shelf?

  4. V-day was only 50% in West Plano and yes, I did scan it :(

So on Sunday evening DH casually mentions that he wished he had a desk for the study, and I nearly throttled him since I had seen desks at the Home Design event and was sure they were now all gone. So I drag him back to Target and was amazed to find one, still in the box! Happy dance! We ended up getting that, plus a wooden drawer unit, each ringing under $60.

Today I had a Dr's appt near the Target... so of course I had to check to see if anything interesting had been returned! LOL! All that was left in Home Design were some gray end tables and a couple dinged-up mirrors. I did manage to score an 8-piece bed-in-bag set for 75% off in Housewares, which is getting pretty cleaned out as well (although some of the new stuff looks really cute, can't wait for the next clearance round (July/Aug, right?)

Went to the one in Frisco and mckinney (121 and Custer) and VD stuff still 50%. I did see two bamboo console table and a bamboo mirror left at the Frisco store if anyone was interested. Also, I finally returned a grey wingback chair because I couldn't another one to make a set. If anyone is interested I returned in mckinney (121 and Custer). I was SAD I had to return it...

  5. That was a good score, I have not seen those at any of the DFW Targets I went to, just lots of the gray sectional pieces. I think our stores did the markdown either late Thursday or really early Friday, because by the time I started doing my "rounds", I knew I was too late (you know when you are walking up to Target, and you see tons of emplyees helping customers load stuff into their SUV's off flatbeds, and you instantly think to yourself, "DARN!!! Shoulda come earlier!!!!")

They marked it down Friday morning. I got off of work early because my son had his valentine's party, so I got lucky. I did managed to get six sectional pieces. I also bought an island and now don't know what to do with it. I guess I went over my head with their things. I actually got the wingback chair Saturday morning after my ds soccer game. Now, I'm debating whether to return it or just keep one. It's kinda tough....:( Please anyone in the DFW who wants to sell their wingback or decides it doesn't go with their decor, please please let me know..

  6. Lots of good scores in the DFW area. GB/Home Design was 75% off everywhere, although not always marked as such. Not all that much left, though. Quite a bit of furniture, although it was flying out of there. IMHO, most of it wasn't even worth it at 75% off, and some of it seemed downright dangerous. Housewares (bed/bath) were mostly 75% off. Baby and toy deals are long gone, except for a straggler misplaced on an end cap here and there.

    I scored:

    ### 060040161 Waverly Home Queen sheet set in black, $14.98 (75%)

    ### 060100892 Home Queen sheet set, teal stripes, $9.98 (75%)

    ### 064130269/72 Waverly bathroom rugs, cream colored, $2.48/$3.74 (75%)

    ### 067100320/29 Deerskin plush throws in tan and light blue, $6.24 (75%) COZY!

    ### 067100366 Home red boucle throw $6.98 (75%)

    ### 097010433 Rattan waste basket $5.12 (75%)

    ### 097010439 Small glass canister with wooden lid, $2.48 (75%)

    ### 236000056 Home Design Decor ball $1.24 (75%)

    ### 236000083 HD Brown metallic ceramic "wooden log" vase, $8.74 (75%)

    ### HD White ceramic and light wood bath items (soap dispenser, etc) $3.XX-$8.XX (75%)

    ### 236160168 HD wall decor - stretched canvas with brown abstract flowers $19.98 (75%)

    ### 060070371 Thomas O'Brien Decorator pillow, oblong red $8.24 (75%)

    ### 060100789 Home Full/Queen quilt, black white and blue $14.98 (75%)

    ### 060110980 Home Queen flannel sheet set, $6.24 (75%)

    ### 074152946 Room Essentials 16x20 keepsake pinboard frame $7.48 (75%)

    ### 236070086 HD wall decor - botanical prints x2 $9.98 (75%)

And the best scores of all:

    ### 062030125 Sunbeam Queen electric blanket in tan $19.98 (75%)

    ### 037051262 Philosophy bath gel in Waffle Cone and Cafe au Lait $4.00 (75%)

The Philosophy was only marked 50% and I only found those two on a random endcap, but a nice employee agreed to mark them down to the Home Design 75% off price. Yay for nice Target employees!!!

Also got a Venus Vibrance and replacement blades for 50% off. Did not find the Waverly Home queen sheet set in red I have been coveting, or the previously mentioned shelving units. But otherwise I am happy!

    Phew!

Where in DFW do you shop? Wanted to find a couple more pieces from the Home Design sale tomorrow. You think there will still be some left?

  7. Ran to the Target in Watertown NY on Sunday and got an Ammana Brand Stainless steel grill with side burner for 48.98 marked down from 198. I didn't even second guess I grabbed it and ran. I think they may have been from last season.

I don't remember ever seeing grills at Target. Are they at both SuperTarget and Targets? We really need to replace our propane grill. Will have to keep an eye on these. Thanks for the heads up!

I called one time to double check on the price and the lady on other end told me there are no grills til spring/summer. Keep in mind, I've been eyeing the grill for a long time. I thought she'd lost her mind. I told her to double check. She got annoyed and put on hold for a long time so I finally gave up and hung up on her.

  8. Ran to the Target in Watertown NY on Sunday and got an Ammana Brand Stainless steel grill with side burner for 48.98 marked down from 198. I didn't even second guess I grabbed it and ran. I think they may have been from last season.

Great find!!! I've been checking daily to see if it was going to go on clearance but it took months. If I recall it's since last august. I bought one at $89 but really wanted it for $49. I'm glad I ended with one because I returned 2 days later and they were all sold out. Do u by any chance have the dcpi number? I wanna try to find another for a gift.

  9. I always find stuff in the furniture. It amazes me how many times I find stuff in the drawers. lol

Lately I find the stashes behind the toys and/or stuffed animals (that was the christmas stash I found). (board games too is a popular stash hide-out).

Whenever I go to target I am tempted to go to he furniture aisle to check on the 'stash' but get paranoid feeling they are zooming in on me like A criminal. I know... It's my conscience talking to me. I never seemed to find anything. Does that mean I need to check every single drawer? I've heard of hiding things in trash cans, but is that the heavy duty ones or the little ones? CONFUSED!!!!!!

  10. Does anyone think they'll mark the Valentine's Day stuff 50% off on or before Valentine's Day??

Also, the above theory...I think it might work in theory but a few things to consider

    1. You return the item that's 50% off to the Target store #2, and someone else buys it b/c they are willing to pay 50% off for the item.

    2. You should consider how far away are the Target stores and how much is your time and the cost of gas worth to you? I mean if you return this item to the 2nd Target store are you going to take time out of your day EVERY day and spend gas money to go there EVERYDAY to make sure the item you returned is still there AND marked 75% off?? If store #1 has a lot of the item you want marked down and is closer to your home, perhaps you could just go the THAT store everyday and monitor it? This way you're at least working with a store that has a few of the item in stock.

I'm sure many people who post in this thread will tell you how they've been fortunate enough to find someone's "stash" that was hidden or they've grabbed an item that was returned and on sale.

It makes me wonder where people put their stash.. I'm probably not looking in the right place, but I would love to one day find one. I am sure to say I am terrified their cameras are always starring at me.
