    Major markdowns today!! :cheesy::eyepoppin Backpacks and lunchbags went 75% off. Domestics went 75% off and it was INSANE. Some furniture 75% off. A bunch of small kitchen appliances are 50% off, including a juicer, a fryer, a wafflecone maker, a crock pot, and (drumroll please) a KitchenAid stand mixer (two colors - white and white/pink breast cancer) and KitchenAid blender. I seriously filled my cart and nearly had a heart attack when I saw the bill but WTH, I figure I saved 3 times more than I spent, right???? :yup:

    Which store did you go to? I went to the one in Frisco (preston/gaylord) and backpacks and lunchboxes are 75%. I got a backpack and lunchbox that both match for my son. My son was so excited when I showed it to him. Garden stuff down to nothing. They still had some grills that were not marked down for some reason.

    Did you find any grills//if so which location? I won't be able to go out today as I've got the flu :-/

    I'm sorry to hear you have the flu. I did find a grill and a smoker, but it is a floor model. I don't know if they will sell it to you. I couldn't find anyone around to help and I was in a rush. My husband really wants a smoker, but I just can't afford to get him one at full price. Nothing good left on the BTS only folders and binders. I went to the one in Mckinney (SW corner of Custer and 121) at around 7.

    West Plano and Frisco usually. I think it's new as of this past season or so. Located in the regular candle aisle, and also in a special display on an endcap. I was able to score a scented oil warmer and some refills today at 75% off ($3.XX). The scents they appear to be clearancing are called something along the lines of lilac, spa, beach, tropical smoothie, and wildflower meadow (I'm sure to move in the fall/holiday scents).

    I usually go to the Frisco and Mckinney stores. I haven't seen any deals lately and so it gets discouraging when there's not any good deals. Looked yesterday at the Mckinney store and backpacks were still 50%.

    Thanks to the poster re: Yankee Candles, I got the last two jar candles for less than $4 (reg. $15) and they smell delish. They also had lots of votives in various scents for 48 cents each. There are other home scents 75% off as well, such as reed diffusers, soy candles, etc. but it is pretty picked over by now.

     

    I think Target has been slow about markdowns because they know the stuff will move before it gets to 50 or 75% off. At least that has been the case at my stores, a lot of the stuff I have been stalking is gone by 30 or 50% and never makes it to 75%. The stuff that goes to 75% has usually been sitting there for a while. I was also really surprised that they have kept BTS at 30% even after they had the whole section reset for Halloween. But I see plenty of people stocking up at 30%.

    Which stores do you usually go? I've never heard of Yankee Candles at Target. Is that something new?

    I know this is a Target thread, but Kmart has some of the books for cheap. I read on another site that someone found 5 different Tag books for $4.80 each at Kmart and they ended up being only $.80 after the $4 off q. I called my local Kmart and asked about a couple of the books and they said they were $5.60 which will still be a great deal after the $4 q.

    That's a great deal.. But too bad we don't have any Kmart stores here..:(
