  3. Lake Jackson, TX. And then maybe Pearland or Sugarland if we want to hit Macy's, Bed, Bath, and Beyond, etc.
  4. We go in a group or 4-5: Me, my mom, SIL, sister, and maybe a friend. Mom parks the cart in a central location and the rest of us are 'runners' to different departments. It works out very well.
  5. Woo-hoo! Too bad there isn't an Ace near me. Looks as though I could have used a few things from there.
  6. I got the Play Wonder tool bench for and Bosch play saw for 50% off last week. The bench was $29.xx and the saw was $4.xx. This was in South Texas.
  7. An employee at my Target told me that our patio would be marked down to 50% this Wednesday morning. I think we are behind most other places, because we are the only Target in a 35 mile radius, but if yours is slow too, be on the look out.
  8. A lot of mine is already marked, but most of it is still in the aisles, not on the end-caps. It is about half at 30% off and half at 50%. I'm just waiting and watching...
  9. Saw only a few types of patio chairs 15% off and a fire bowl 15% off, too. This actually surprises me, summer is long here, so summer items being clearanced in June is strange.
  10. 3M Filtrete Air Purifier 75% off reg. $299.99 down to $74.98 DCPI: 085-00-0101
  11. 10 count Claritin 50% off down to $4.02. Works great with $3/1 coupons out there from the Bzz campaign.
  12. There is a lot of houseware items on clearance, too. I got 2 huge copper colored stoneware serving platters for $10 a piece, clearanced dwon from $40 (75% off) and a HUGE beveled glass mirror for $40.xx down from $150.
  13. Lake Jackson, TX Target still 75%, condensed down to 1 aisle.
  14. Lake Jackson, TX Target was 75% off today, with half the area being cleared for what I assume will be Global Baraar and the other half already filled with the special value pack sized goods. Also, my recipt printed out that Global Bazaar starts January 6th.
  15. We got to Target around 5:15, waited in line, booed the line jumpers to the point that they stopped and waited for the line to pass. I went straight to Toys and got the Hannah Montana dolls, my SIL went to get all of our DVDs, and my mom, went for the Magellan. She saw the mess that was in electronics so she went around the back around the perimeter and got one easy as pie! We were out of there by 6:30, no worries. The only thing you really had to watch for was the people with the big 37" TV running you over cause they couldn't see you b/c the box was so huge!
  16. High: 58 °F RealFeel®: 54 °F Cooler with clouds limiting sun For south Texas, that's cold! Especially considering today's high is 88...
  17. Hi!!! I know where Ganado is, I drive by it when I go down to Goliad to my family's ranch! What Target do y'all have out that way? I might have to hit it!
  18. Ohhh! 4 AM! My SIL and I were just talking about Kohl's tonight. 4AM would be great, in, out, and across the street to wait for Target to open. :)
  19. Lake Jackson, TX Target - the Halloween is 90% off but VERY little is left. I did find a nice Smith & Hawken over-the-door wreath hanger with a pretty fall leaf on it for $1.29.
  20. Went to Target last night. Got some Halloween plates and napkins. I was there mainly for the big black and orange rubbermaid tubs but I had already missed those. I did get 6 Jello pudding mixes marked down from $0.99 to $0.68, some blue plastic dished makred down 75% from $2.99 to $0.74. My big find was a Thermos brand "Lunch Lugger". It's a good sized insulated lunch kit with a full size thermos attached to he top. 75% off from $49.99 down to $12.48! Perfect gift for my dad. I unfortunatly don't have the DCPI, it is one of those long printed red and white stickers and there are a lot more than 9 digits on it, plus it rang up as item not found, so she just keyed in the price. There were a few of them in the sporting good clearance endcap.
  21. I live in South, coastal Texas and WE had snow that year on Christmas! The most I've ever seen! People were building snow men on the beach.
  22. Ohh! Let us know how it turns out. That sounds like fun!
  23. I don't have this set anymore, but if I run into anymore, I'll let y'all know. :)
  24. Ok guys, I snagged one of those HP lego sets (Hogwarts Castle) for $22.48 today at my Target! It was still marked down to $66.xx so I scanned it and it was WAY down. I was so excited I had to get it, and I don't have ANY kids! So, if anyone still needs one, PM me and I'll get it to you. Happy Holidays!
  25. Alton Brown's brined turkey is the best! I use this recipe every year, both for Thanksgiving and Christmas eve. If you live in a warmer climate or just simply don't have the fridge space to put the turkey while in the brine solution, you can use a large Igloo ice chest. The round kind that you can get water, etc out of while at picnics and such. Works great and keeps everything nicely chilled.
