I think it all depends on your TRU. I was in Charlotte, NC last year. My brother and I got in line at about 4:30am and we were about the 75th person or so in line. The first person had gotten in line at about 2:30-2:45am. Good luck! :)

last year I got home before noon so I sorted through the bags, hid the presents from the kids and ate some leftovers. Then went back out shopping. This year, DH is home and we will be shopping ALL day long. Lunch, movie, dinner, more shopping. When we get home we will eat some leftovers and go to bed.

I am BEYOND ready for BF! DH will be home from Iraq and I can't wait to drag him out!(he's looking forward to it though) :)

We'll be at Toys R Us.

We leave out cookies and milk(which stays in the fridge) for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.

I have a 10 year old niece who is really into girly things. Last year I gave her a purse with some jewelry, a gift card to The Limited Too, and some lotions and sprays from Bath and Body Works. She really loved it and still carries that purse around and wears the jewelry. I have no idea what I will do this year for her though.

I was in Hobby Lobby 3 weeks ago and they have huge ones. I didn't see a price tag on it- but you can use their coupon on it if it's not on sale. We need to get one for our house as well.

Yes. This year DH, the kids and I will take a picture of us in front of the tree and use that as our cards.(Which means we got to get our tree early- 1st week in Dec)

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation Christmas Story B&W version of Miracle on 34th Street. I also watch all of the old shows(Frosty, Rudolph, etc) on abcfamily.

Last year I was out of the house by about 3:30 am. I got home at about 10 am. This year since I'll be going with DH- we plan on shopping all morning. Getting some lunch. Going to a movie. Shopping some more and after all of that, heading off to look at furniture and new cars. So- I believe we'll be out until between 8 and 9 pm.(oh- and we plan on waking up at 2 and out the door by 2:30 am).

This will be my 2nd year shopping and my first year on the board.

Last year I went with one of my brothers. This year I will be going with DH.

Last year I visited my family in North Carolina. I wanted to go to Concord Mills to get the giveaway bag at midnight- I'm really glad I didn't go to that. Let's see- last year was my first year ever shopping on BF. I was thinking I was going to see yelling, screaming, punching. Everyone I saw was very pleasant. Only one lady in Gymboree was throwing a fit and pretty much everyone in line was laughing at her. When she left, everyone apologized to the cashier. That's my only interesting BF experience.

Last year was my first year and I spent between $600 and $700. No big ticket items either.
