Great Dane Mom........Here is the note I pm'd to Eve when you posted about your package...I want everyone to know how I felt.....No more surprise on who I am...LOL... -------------------------------------------------- Eve, I'm horrified at Great Dane Mom's post! I had that filled with all sorts of goodies. If the package said "unsealed...etc" obviously some stuff is missing. I mailed *a cute set of christmas cookie cutters, *a christmas candy "kabob" style gummy trees and santa thing (it was SO cute). *A candle---which she got... *and she said something about green cellohane with brown balls in it...that was the CUTEST little gifts set that was called "body chocolates" or something...and it had a package of bath soak, and the little balls were bath oil balls and they were a mint chocolate scent. *I specifically went and purchased the lindy toffee choc bar (not cheap either) becuase that was the candy she posted that she liked as her favorite. ***I can't remember if there was anything else...seems to be that there was more, but I can't think right now. Sounds like she doesn't even know about the cookie cutters, so those must have come out when the package was found (unsealed)....hmmm..... The gift would have been fun and cute if it had arrived in one piece. It was sent priority mail too...but I didn't buy insurance because I ship stuff ALL THE TIME and never have problems as she described. Could you please tell her that her SS person is very sorry that the mail and postal service were so hard on THEIR OWN Flat rate envelopes? What a bummer! --------------------------------------------- Now...Great Dane Mom....For the GOOOD news..... You will be getting a 2nd Package from me....It may or may not arrive before Christmas...but I will be in touch if I have a tracking #. Also---LMAO at Kayakmom spilling the beans to the WORLD about my Peanut Butter Balls, but if you would like some, I'm whipping up another batch here before Christmas, so I will send those your way as well....(They are pretty good, if I DO say so myself!) -------------------------------- Since I am one of the last 5 to not recieve a gift, I know how sucky it feels, and I feel like you are feeling just about almost equally bummed---excpet that you at least know that someone "tried"...I don't even have THAT much to go on...LOL.... So There you have it...I wasn't sure what I was going to do...but you WILL get another package from me...it will be different stuff from the first batch...but at least you can have something to look forward to, ok? MERRY CHRISTMAS! and SORRY to spill the secret of who I am....but I thought you should know. :)

Hi Heather.... There might be ONE lucky recipient here...Eve said that ONE has a tracking number, so that one must be "legit" lol. I'll wish you a Merry Christmas and give you a and a So you can feel some love from a GD Friend...LOL....

I'm sorry to the other 4 of you besides myself.... Kind of sad, isn't it? Thank you for your work Eve....It'd be nice if everyone would just get their stuff so you could be DONE with it all, huh? I'll still keep you posted ok? Do any of these last 5 have tracking numbers? Or are you just going off of the senders word that they were mailed? Not trying to bug you....Just curious, is all.

I've recieved my Ornament, but no SS gift. I didn't get a summer gift either...how's that for poor luck? They had to send out a "lifeguard" for me. Don't my GD friends like me? LOL.... And don't forget the MOST FUN thing with silly putty! Flatten it out...and stick it to the colored funny pages of the newspaper and it transfers the picture onto your putty.... LOVED doing that...I might have to get my boys some too now that you all are talking about it...LOL.

Phew...I saw your post fromt he 14th at the top of the page and hurried and tracked it...saw it was delivered...came back and read more and see that you DID get it...LOL... I'm glad you got it...I thought it was cute...hope you do too. :) Sorry it was a tad bit late.....Completely MY fault...and I have no good excuse for waiting so long other than that I had foot surgery and should have bought one ahead of time, then realized I'm not getting out of the house AT ALL...so I had to order it on-line and have it shipped to me...then shipped back out to you..... I'm sorry that happened to you jcarr, but it does sound VERY odd because from my experience with UPS...I've had nothing but all positives. The fact remains that SOMEONE opened the box...but there is no way to prove who. TO me....as long as my stuff was still there (in the box), I'd let it go....but that is just me?? I can see why he was so upset...if he really had nothing to do with it. But I also am surprised that he'd come and get so upset...but if he's a temp...I suppose then what does he have to lose? 2 more weeks of TEMP work? Merry Christmas to you, and keep on postin! :)

I was too, until today...I received my ornament. It is very neat. It is a color changing christmas tree. My 5 year old grabbed it and said "Are there any more?"....I think he was hoping he could have his own. hahaha....he hung it on our little tree. Thank you very much ilgetumipretty! I like it!

I agree. A member offered some baby cereal and formula on the beg/give forum. I contacted her, and she still had them. I wanted to pay her for the shipping, but she said the same thing. "No-I've gotten so many deals on this site-this will be a little way of giving back." Within a week, a big box arrived of 4 boxes of baby cereal, and 2 tubs of formula. The box showed that it cost over 10.00 for her to ship it to me. I couldn't believe how thoughtful that was....not only just to GIVE away the baby stuff, but it COST her money to give it away. So I couldn't agree more..... GD is the best. :)

I shipped my SS Gift last week, and it shows that it was delivered. I ordered an ornament on line, and as SOON as I get it I'll turn RIGHT around and re-ship to my ornament person. I just had foot surgery and haven't been to a store, and the deadline snuck up on me, so i ordered an ornament online as my last resort option. So to my ornament person, hopefully EVE will contact you, and you'll know that I PROMISE you'll get it, but it might be a couple days until I get it, and then a couple more until YOU get it. SORRY!

Um...My Black Friday? I was sleeping, and resting with my Foot up. LOL. I had foot srugery on Nov. 20th...so no black Friday for me this year. I did not even look at the HUGE pile opf Ads that comes in Thanksgiving Day's newspaper , because I knew I'd just be SAD and Frustrated to not get to plan out a strategy. LOL. Primal, I understand the feeling...I wanted one so bad I ran around the neighborhood like an idiot because the kids were sleeping, and it was all I could do in order to get in on one of these cool contests...lol. I want to apologize to anyone who thought I was making fun of the contest in any way. When you want something that bad...(lol- a stinking T SHIRT---lol) you'll do whatever you can, with what you have to work with. I just thought....UGH---task 1, 2 and 3 are done...but no one has done #4...how can I do that while the kids are sleeping...and yet FAST enough to win. Sorry...that was all I could come up with... ha ha ha.... I was not trying to put the contest down. I think the contests are fun. :)
