  1. That’s what I’ve been thinking all day. I like a bargain and all, but these little pre-sales have been useless to me. So far I haven’t bought anything at all. Today I was hoping for Best Buy, Walmart and Target Black Friday ads to hit so I could finally make a game plan. Hopefully Walmart doesn’t wait until this sale ends to let us see what Black Friday itself brings.
  2. We don’t have a BJ’s here, just a Sam’s and Costco, but I was just poking around at ads to see what I’m missing out on!! LOL!! There were a few things that I would buy if there were one here.
  3. I don’t see enough in this ad to make me want to fight traffic to get to that area of town during Black Friday week, but I might order a couple of things online.
  4. I’m anxious to see the actual Black Friday ad for Best Buy. I’m hoping they have a bunch of 4K movies and some tv series on sale, but with the removal of most of the movies and tv series in the store not sure about that. I’m also looking the best price on an air fryer oven and security cameras. Not sure what else yet, probably depends on their ad.
  5. Definitely not one of their best. They used to have movies and tv series on sale each Thanksgiving Day as well as Pepsi or Dr. Pepper for good prices. This just looks like a regular sale.
  6. I was in Walmart this afternoon and they were in the process of putting the shrink wrapped pallets out on the floor. Even with all the signs stating it wouldn’t be for sale until Wednesday in the store, people were pulling things out and putting them in their carts. I guess they didn’t get that they won’t ring up the cheaper price yet. Walmart was really busy today, but we were getting snow this evening so most people were in the grocery area.
  7. I’ll probably end up picking up a new Carrhart Hoodie for my son fromTractor Supply while they are on sale. There may be more that end up on the shopping list from here.
  8. I see a few things that will probably end up on my guys Wish Lists, so I see myself adding Bass Pro to my list. I was thinking about a couple of flannel shirts for my dad and they’ve got some that are going to be on sale. I’ll give it a more thorough look through and start a list.
  9. I would love to buy a Cricut Maker 3, and they have a bundle listed in this ad, so I started a comparison sheet for who has one with what accessories for what price. I have a perfectly good original Circuit Expression but like all the materials the nowadays models can cut and things you can do with them. Now if I can actually convince myself to pull the trigger and buy one….they are so expensive and I’m not sure I would use it enough to make it worth the money. I always say I will use something a bunch, but then a lot of things end up sitting on the shelf or in a drawer.
  10. I was just taking a second look at the JCPenney ad and saw a couple of items that aren’t too bad of prices, but they are on sale now so I will probably just snag them now and skip Black Friday there. It looks like they are doing their coupon handout Black Friday morning while supplies last, but at the top of all the categories it says “excluded from coupons” so it makes it look like you can only use the coupon on regular price stuff, so I think I’ll skip that Black Friday battle!!
  11. I buy a box or two of new Rubbermaid every year. I don’t know what happens to ours but all the big pieces seem to disappear during the year until all we are left with are the little containers. I also buy tv series and movies every year.
  12. I don’t have a lot of space on my counter for appliances either, but a portable island is a terrific thing to have to add space. My KitchenAid sits on my counter but I have a portable island, that I actually don’t move around, and the toaster oven sits on it. I tried the KitchenAid on it, but when I had it turned up on high mixing speed it shock the island like crazy…lol…. So find a good sturdy one and you will LOVE the extra space. Ok, now convince me that a new Ninja Air Fryer Oven is a good idea. I’ve got a Ninja Pressure Cooker/Air Fryer and I’ve got a toaster oven. I wouldn’t get rid of the Ninja pressure cooker/air fryer because I actually bought it for the pressure cooker part, we just ended up using the air fryer a bunch. So, I’m debating if I actually want to pay that much for for one. What are the pros and cons of this combo appliance?
  13. My Cricut is a bit older of a machine (think the first bigger version of a Cricut) so it doesn’t do all the stuff that the newer fancy ones do, but I have been eyeballing a new one myself. You can do t-shirts, mugs, home deco, tons of stuff with the machines now. They cut a lot of different materials too. I use mine for scrapbooking, card making and I love to make party decorations with it too. Once you start playing around with one you are hooked!!! LOL!
  14. Wow, I got lost in that ad remembering shopping for several of those things!! My mom and I scored two of the portable DVD players and two of the portable VSmile game systems for my twin niece and nephew, jeans for EVERYONE, a camera for my mom…. I think the best current deal would be the XBox system. That one was only a year old at that time and when you add in all the extra stuff it was a pretty decent deal. If that were today’s one year old base console with extra specialty controller and games, you’d be spending considerably more than that.
  15. Great prize!! My iPad was getting older and slower and my son has let me borrow his ever since he bought a MacBook. It would be great to win one.
  16. I’m game to try again! This last year life got in the way of a lot things and I wasn’t online much. Hopefully this one is a much calmer year and I will get to do things I enjoy. And maybe I will remember to do this every month…
  17. I am just not a fan of this style of ‘ad’, I guess i just like the ones that look like paper. And I wish it would just say which things are going to be in-store and which are going to be online only in big bold letters. I’m sure hoping the actual Black Friday ad will be more interesting to me. I’m sure it is just me, but I’m not finding a whole lot in their early ads, meaning I haven’t bought anything yet!! LOL!!
  18. If someone on here has a Costco membership, could you please tell me how much the Ninja Foodi Air Fryer Oven Model DT251CO is? My membership expired and I can’t see the price for that item. I had planned on renewing my membership in a couple of weeks but if the price is good enough I may have to bump up renewing because it says $50 off through November 16,2022.
  19. I’m thinking a toaster oven/air fryer and an Arlo setup.
  20. I have quite a few years worth of the cute little Disney snow globes that JC Penney gave out, some of them are starting to turn a little yellowish on the globe part. One year Sears had Thomas Kincaid glass ball ornaments. I can’t remember if those were free or free with purchase, but they were only on Black Friday. I remember one year while I was in the Best Buy line…not super far back, but not camp-all-night close either, the employees were going down the line handing out and throwing out free goodies. I think there were T-shirts, CDs, stuffed things, all kinds of promotional items. I have a couple of little stuffed animal things from that year. That was the only year I remember them doing anything like that. And one year my mom won one of the two $100 gift cards that Shoe Carnival gave away for Black Friday. Another thing I have are memories of Walmart Black Fridays. Memories of trying to find out from Walmart employees where to line up for the special limited quantity items. And I get that a lot of times the employees weren’t told where the line would be until just about that time, but it can be frustrating to say the least to be fighting the crowd trying scour the store to find where to line up. One year I got the nicest employee that told me to stay in a certain spot and she would find out for me. She was gone for about 20 minutes but when she came back she had a string of balloons that said the name of the laptop I wanted on them and told me to follow her. She led me to the shoe department, tied the balloon onto something and told me I was number 1. That was before the days of the maps online that tell you most of that now.
  21. Count me in…now if I can follow through each month!!!
  22. I think I need to add it this post to my phone calendar for every month so I can remember to post! Just got over a bug I caught while BF shopping. It was hard to keep myself away from everyone in the family, but didn’t want to pass it on to someone else. I have felt better the last two days so hopefully I am not contagious anymore. Killed me not to go back to Walmart to see what BF merchandise they had marked down in my town.
