OK, I don’t see myself here for Black Friday. That ad is like a regular weekly ad for the most part. I don’t need a new computer or printer (already had to replace that about a month ago) so I didn’t really look at the prices on those to know if they are all that good or not. Hope somebody finds what they need in the ad.

Well, today I went ahead and got a Costco membership again so I can take advantage of a few of their Black Friday items. I was trying to wait until Best Buy, Target and Walmart had put their BF ads out to see if they would have a better price on a few things, but then I saw there was a code to get a $45 store credit back on the $60 membership fee, so I went ahead and bought the membership online so I would be all ready to buy, buy, buy!! LOL!! I figured that since it would end up only costing $15 for the year I would just go ahead and buy it.

Our Walmart has a 4 ft one, not on sale, $30. Michaels has a nice looking one, but it isn’t on sale until Wednesday. It will be $25 then. They both come with clear or multicolor lights.

Tulsa, Oklahoma. I live about an hour away but always shop in Tulsa for the choices. I’m sure I’ll do some of my shopping online too, since the sale days are kinda split all over the place for some of the items I want and I don’t want to drive back and forth several days, but Tulsa for actual Black Friday.

Pick the Best Deal & Win GottaDEAL Hoodies [Winners Posted]

Congrats to all the winners!!!! -
I forwarded this Ulta ad to my two nieces to check out. I’m positive they will find something in this ad for their wish list as they love going in Ulta. I saw the new Wet n Wild Peanuts collection on sale in the ad and one of my nieces likes Peanuts so I’ll probably try to snag the makeup bag for her. Not sure what else yet, I’ll have to give the ad a better perusal first, and see what they choose from there.

I see several LED light sets that are going to be on sale in this ad. Every year I think that I’ll wait until the after Christmas sales to buy some, but then all the colored ones are gone and I don’t buy any. I think I’ll check into the prices they are at some of the other stores right now and see if those sale prices are really good or not, as I’m not used to shopping at ACE. They do have a 100 count for $14.99 and it said they were BOGO. There are also some nice looking wreaths in the ad, But at $50 I’m not too likely to buy one.

Thanks for the heads up about Eternals and Shang-Chi on 4-K. I had looked on their website earlier and just clicked on their link to Black Friday deals in the movie category and it just showe like 17 movies, and these weren’t in them.

Both of my sons are wanting to build new gaming computers, so I imagine there will be a few things they want from this ad. And, WOW! Did you see the surge protector with 22 ports and 6 USB charging ports? If I plugged that many things into one outlet at my house it would probably blow a breaker!!! I better stick with the ones that give an extra 6-10 outlets. LOL!

That’s what I’ve been thinking all day. I like a bargain and all, but these little pre-sales have been useless to me. So far I haven’t bought anything at all. Today I was hoping for Best Buy, Walmart and Target Black Friday ads to hit so I could finally make a game plan. Hopefully Walmart doesn’t wait until this sale ends to let us see what Black Friday itself brings.

We don’t have a BJ’s here, just a Sam’s and Costco, but I was just poking around at ads to see what I’m missing out on!! LOL!! There were a few things that I would buy if there were one here.
-
I don’t see enough in this ad to make me want to fight traffic to get to that area of town during Black Friday week, but I might order a couple of things online.
-
I’m anxious to see the actual Black Friday ad for Best Buy. I’m hoping they have a bunch of 4K movies and some tv series on sale, but with the removal of most of the movies and tv series in the store not sure about that. I’m also looking the best price on an air fryer oven and security cameras. Not sure what else yet, probably depends on their ad.
-
Definitely not one of their best. They used to have movies and tv series on sale each Thanksgiving Day as well as Pepsi or Dr. Pepper for good prices. This just looks like a regular sale.

I was in Walmart this afternoon and they were in the process of putting the shrink wrapped pallets out on the floor. Even with all the signs stating it wouldn’t be for sale until Wednesday in the store, people were pulling things out and putting them in their carts. I guess they didn’t get that they won’t ring up the cheaper price yet. Walmart was really busy today, but we were getting snow this evening so most people were in the grocery area.

I’ll probably end up picking up a new Carrhart Hoodie for my son fromTractor Supply while they are on sale. There may be more that end up on the shopping list from here.

Cabela's & Bass Pro Shops Black Friday Ad (11/21 to 11/27)
marathonshopper replied to Brad's topic in 2022
I see a few things that will probably end up on my guys Wish Lists, so I see myself adding Bass Pro to my list. I was thinking about a couple of flannel shirts for my dad and they’ve got some that are going to be on sale. I’ll give it a more thorough look through and start a list. -
I would love to buy a Cricut Maker 3, and they have a bundle listed in this ad, so I started a comparison sheet for who has one with what accessories for what price. I have a perfectly good original Circuit Expression but like all the materials the nowadays models can cut and things you can do with them. Now if I can actually convince myself to pull the trigger and buy one….they are so expensive and I’m not sure I would use it enough to make it worth the money. I always say I will use something a bunch, but then a lot of things end up sitting on the shelf or in a drawer.
-
I was just taking a second look at the JCPenney ad and saw a couple of items that aren’t too bad of prices, but they are on sale now so I will probably just snag them now and skip Black Friday there. It looks like they are doing their coupon handout Black Friday morning while supplies last, but at the top of all the categories it says “excluded from coupons” so it makes it look like you can only use the coupon on regular price stuff, so I think I’ll skip that Black Friday battle!!

What's something you buy or rebuy every Black Friday?
marathonshopper replied to Kanyon71's topic in 2022
I buy a box or two of new Rubbermaid every year. I don’t know what happens to ours but all the big pieces seem to disappear during the year until all we are left with are the little containers. I also buy tv series and movies every year. -
I don’t have a lot of space on my counter for appliances either, but a portable island is a terrific thing to have to add space. My KitchenAid sits on my counter but I have a portable island, that I actually don’t move around, and the toaster oven sits on it. I tried the KitchenAid on it, but when I had it turned up on high mixing speed it shock the island like crazy…lol…. So find a good sturdy one and you will LOVE the extra space. Ok, now convince me that a new Ninja Air Fryer Oven is a good idea. I’ve got a Ninja Pressure Cooker/Air Fryer and I’ve got a toaster oven. I wouldn’t get rid of the Ninja pressure cooker/air fryer because I actually bought it for the pressure cooker part, we just ended up using the air fryer a bunch. So, I’m debating if I actually want to pay that much for for one. What are the pros and cons of this combo appliance?

My Cricut is a bit older of a machine (think the first bigger version of a Cricut) so it doesn’t do all the stuff that the newer fancy ones do, but I have been eyeballing a new one myself. You can do t-shirts, mugs, home deco, tons of stuff with the machines now. They cut a lot of different materials too. I use mine for scrapbooking, card making and I love to make party decorations with it too. Once you start playing around with one you are hooked!!! LOL!

Pick the Best Deal & Win GottaDEAL Hoodies [Winners Posted]

Wow, I got lost in that ad remembering shopping for several of those things!! My mom and I scored two of the portable DVD players and two of the portable VSmile game systems for my twin niece and nephew, jeans for EVERYONE, a camera for my mom…. I think the best current deal would be the XBox system. That one was only a year old at that time and when you add in all the extra stuff it was a pretty decent deal. If that were today’s one year old base console with extra specialty controller and games, you’d be spending considerably more than that. -
Win an Apple iPad Air by Discussing Black Friday! [Winner Posted]
marathonshopper replied to Brad's topic in 2022
Great prize!! My iPad was getting older and slower and my son has let me borrow his ever since he bought a MacBook. It would be great to win one. -
I’m game to try again! This last year life got in the way of a lot things and I wasn’t online much. Hopefully this one is a much calmer year and I will get to do things I enjoy. And maybe I will remember to do this every month…
