if it's a regular celly at 1.8 then NVM hehe, i thought it was mobile then it's still good.

they are about 1/4" thicker than my dell dude, my friend got one, it's a mobile celly i think, if it comes with celeron then it'll have much higher clock speed.

fry ad is up, so far i saw i a couple good deals, go check it out at your local newspaper online.

BB is popular everywhere, they advertise like crazy, almost every one knows about BB and CC (dam now i just notice it, haha BB and CC).

yeah, that samsung is deffinitely better, but it's also 50 more, and it seems that there are less rebates on the staple side, this is probably how it goes down if i'm the one choosing it, if you have a digital connection on your graphic card, go for the samsung, if not go with the proview. Rossman, i'm looking at them myself, i've been through alot of the deal sites for BF, so i probably don't remember where i see it (no chance of pulling up a #), but i do remember BB has 3 deals for LCDs, they got 1 15", and 2 17", one is 200, and the samsung is 250 AR, the 15" they are asking for around 180 i think, when i looked at it, i was like "man i rather get the 17" over the 15" for only 20 bucks more. If i remember correctly the proview from staple has 450:1 viewing ratio, while the samsung has 650:1 viewing ratio, much better.

so far, here are the contender 200 proview 17" at staple is on the list with 16ms respond time the LCD looks nice OD, BB, CC all have 17" LCD for 200, but the one at BB is not as good, i've seen the spec, the one to talk about is the samsung 17" at BB for 250, that one has both digital and analog, but it's 50 more, i'm waiting for fry, on today's ad the have a 17" LCD for 250 no rebate, i'm thinking they'll have something good on BF, but the ad is no where to be seen yet.

that ad is wrong, it's from last year, look at the prices on the combo, 2200 XP combo is so last year (look at the price tag for that combo), the combo i'm expecting for this BF on fry should be the sampron (they been saling them for months, XP was out atleast 5 months ago) and maybe some P4, that ad also has CD rom for 20 and CDRW + DVD combo for 45, regular price at fry for those are 9.99 and 39.99, so this is not the right ad.

fry for me, then i'll swing my staple for an LCD, if they don't have anything left that's fine, i really don't need an LCD, just want it for show :)

ahhh ebay, that's a very dangerous place to do transaction, i rather not, and rebates are pain too :), not for me, i buy for myself and family to use. if they have all that time to fill out rebates then i guess it's best to get a job.

NVM then, i guess in your situation that's the best choice, have fun with the laptop :), if your husband is a gamer then weight wouldn't be a problem, most gamers don't carry the laptop around alot, it's mostly house to car, car to station and they'll be there for a while :).

i don't sleep, stay here till no one is on, then i got take a nap, then it's probably time to go anyways, early birds get the worm, or in this case the LCD

one more thing, if u gonna spend that much then get a laptop from BF and upgrade, the problem is most laptop under 1000 bucks will have cheap graphic card, and that is a huge problem if you are into graphic and stuff.
