  1. WHAT I'd think that an Ipod Touch would be something they could get....there is no excuse for that!! Especially since they are showing instock online right now...they just cannot get stock to cover the cheaper price or what  So Sorry! I'd be steaming since you could have been working the BF/Cyber Monday deals to get another one had you known! Don't bother calling...they are no help.

Mom2monkies EXACTLY! I could have shopped around on Black Friday when EVERYONE seem to have the 8GB Touch with some sort of Gift Card. In fact I was 2nd in the Ipod Touch line at Walmart. They had it with the $50 GC. My husband called at 3am to say Target Online had it for $199. I told him to go ahead and purchase it since it was only $25 more than Walmart. Walmarts price was $175 figuring the $50 GC in. I then left that line to go to the HP laptop line thinking we had it...If I had of known they would cancel I would have stayed as I wanted the Ipod Touch much more than the HP laptop....You are right about calling. It was useless. I got someone from another Country who couldnt even understand me. She just said they couldn't ship until 1/17. They are showing in stock online..I hope people get some sort of message when they checkout. Because I was assured they didn't have it. Maybe I will try calling again..If not I will just get it at Amazon...Where I know I will get it.

  2. A few of my Targets had some toys marked 75% off today, but not all. Most were already 50% off yesterday (very few were still at 30%). It's annoying to me that they only mark some toys 75% off and not all. I guess I have to make more than one trip!

I agree! I cant figure out why they are running 3 different markdowns..30%, 50% & 75%..All at once..Have they done this before?

I did find this toy for 75% off today:

  3. Just curious if it is only here or if other areas of the country are also seeing fairly bare shelves already. Things still looked good even a couple of days ago for after Christmas shopping, but I stopped by today and both of my closest stores are looking pretty shabby. One store has already started consolidating Christmas and moved mini-seasonal to the area with the wrap and decorations. They have started stocking storage stuff up there. They are filling a whole aisle of Christmas with toys because they don't have other seasonal merchandise. The trees are completely gone at both stores. A tiny section of lights, maybe 3 feet wide and all Phillips. Not much in toys, either. It is really dismal. I don't have high hopes for either the after Christmas nor the toy clearance. Maybe there will be more coming, but all the news reports say otherwise. Stores stocked pretty lean this year to avoid leftovers. I guess it might have worked.

Yep! Noticed the same thing...Bare shelves. It might just be a Southern Cali thing as I know we are both in cali...But the 3 Targets I frequent all have consolidated their Christmas down to 2 or 3 isles...Also I noticed that my Targets didnt have huge stocks of toys like in the past so I question how much clearance they will have...I guess we will see as sometimes they do have extra in the stockroom.

  4. Alot of you said GC, what amount? What is too much, what is too less? I don't want to offend my ds's teacher.

I purchased (2) $25 gift cards for both my DD K & 2nd grade teachers..I put them in a gift card holder and gave them to hand written notes by both my DDs. Although I adore them both that was all I could afford...The cards were both for Starbucks as they both love coffee..so I figured that would give them a few fraps!

  5. You should be just fine...I have ordered from 3rd party vendors off Amazon before and have had no problems. Usually shipping kills the deal with 3rd party vendors, but some do use FBA (fulfillment by Amazon) and offer free shipping...So I look at their feedback and if its good and I need the product...I order...

Just so you know, should there be any problems you can call Amazon and they will show you how to file a claim..But this shouldnt be necessary at all...

  6. I was in Marshalls yesterday and they also had many Ugg boots...They had limited colors though and they only had the tall classic style...I do believe they were $89. I purchased my UGG boots from Victoria's Secret online using some coupon codes over the summer. I think I paid $109 for them...The best time to buy Uggs is during the summer time when everyone seems to be clearancing them out.
  7. No tickets at my store either..You have to line up by the item you want..They gave me no certain time..Just whoever is in line at 5..and then they start handing the items out..Something tells me this is going to be a mess..but I am going anyway...
  8. I bought that stupid Biscuit last year for $150. Big mistake!!! THey never play with it. That being said I will more than likely be buying the pony too.

Thats too funny...I bought Butterscotch a couple of years ago and it was the biggest waste of money...My 2 daughters played with it for a couple of days and that was it...It also takes up space in the playroom...I think I will just donate it.

  9. I too think they are way over priced...There is a big difference between SALE prices and CLEARANCE prices..I only shop the clearance rack and only with a 30% coupon..Not even the 10% or the 15% ones...If I dont have a 30% off then I just tell them I left it at home and they give it to me....

As for online...I will only look at the clearance stuff with 30% off coupon and free shipping...For example last Sept I purchased a breadmaker from Kohls online for $5 shipped...It was on clearance and then I used my 30% coupon and got free shipping...
