I wait now. When my dd was little, I bought early at Walmart and put in layaway? She had eagle eyes to find presents. One year I put most out for Santa and wrapped some for mom and dad. I loved to buy her presents, she was an only child. This year she is due for first grand daughter the week of thanksgiving. Amazon rewards card, I pay it off every 2 weeks when I get paid. I have some cash on hand, just in case. I have been saving reward point points and have almost 200 bucks from paying bills. If it's a really big purchase, I use my husbands discover for free extra year warranty plus cash back. We are debt free and will not pay any interest.

I agree, we need a special deal. I have been a prime member for 4 years and a kindle owner since the kindle 2 version. What about loyalty for current customers.

We have a Sony smart tv, blue player with apps and Apple TV. We use the smart tv for Amazon prime, Netflix and some YouTube. Smart tvs keyboard entry for apps typing is not fun. We use apple for connecting iPad or iPhone for YouTube. It can mirror easily. I have music and videos in iTunes. I have an echo. It's fun to play music from our library or amazons. We don't use cable TV only Internet.

Check out the extended warranty from best buy. It used to cover breakage and spills. I used to buy it for my daughter when she was younger. She had 2 cameras replaced.

We always had our holidays the Saturday following at my grandparents. It was a way for everybody to get together and celebrate. The actual holiday was at home. We always had lots fun. It was very large gathering. Generally we have it when we can get together. It's more relaxed now. We go out to eat and go to my dads to talk.

Being nice is a big deal. People are stressed and sometimes rude to cashiers and workers. If you have a really nice person, tell their manager. A smile and thank you goes along way.

Start a college fund, or savings account and a big empty box to play with.

Amazon doesn't run specials on the kindles. They just updated both lines. There will be Black Friday special in the stores. They generally offer gift cards or discounted prices.

If she is using at table, buy a stand to use. I have a small folding plastic one. It looks like a plate holder. I think originally for the nook tablet. I use it for the iPad, kindle. It's more comfortable to sit and have coffee or drink and Internet.
