Yep this site is Awesome and addicting! And everyone here is really helpful and nice.

It's just so hard to contain my excitment! And I constantly looking at this site for new info and reogranizing my ideas! It's totally driving my husband batty!

For the tree we either to the fade effect or steady on, depends on the mood. For the lights outside I like steady but hubby does those and chooses flashing (drives me crazy because he has some many sets outside and they all flash at different times).

They come down right after the 1st! If you leave them up, it just sorta takes away from the holiday spirit at Christmas time.

I take hubby...but he only goes because we go out of town and shop in the city, and he doesn't trust my city driving. Of course he complains about BF for days in advance and when we first start shopping, but after awhile he gets in to it to....especially when we hit the computer stores.

Personally I think doing a name exchange is great. One for adults and one for kids. It makes these easy and more managable and cost friendly. It just seems that if you have to buy everyone a gift, you end buying everyone cheap gift that they really didn't want, just because it was what the person could afford. But if you do the names people can spend a decent amount of money on one person and get them something they may really want and still come out ahead money wise. ...However I could be wrong....Hubby's family has a huge extended family Christmas party and the adults usually have to buy everyone a gift. That's everyone adults and kids. However this year they are talking about just doing kids. Which is good, still quite a few kids, there 8 under the age of 6.

I think they are about 5 & 6. I don't really see them that often so I don't know much about them, excpet they are into cars and dinosaurs.

I am looking for some really inexpensive Christmas gifts for my husband's family big Christmas party (for some of his little cousins) and I noticed that the Walmart ad is advertising two different Hot Wheels items ( 2-pack Fly Wheels or Hot Wheels Gravity Set). However I am not accustomed to buying many little boy toys or hot wheel and was wondering if any one could tell me what these items really are and if they would be make decent gifts. Thanks.

Baked goodies always seem to work well. Plus they are fairly inexpensive and can be made ahead of time, and they are easy to have extras around for that forgotton person.

This will be my first year to shop BF sales so I could use a little assitance. I've been looking at the Walmart list and sounds like they have some great deals. My question is sine Walmart is generally 24 hours, and people can go in all the time how do they manage the early bird specials? Do just not give access to these items? And what time will I need to be there to actually get some of these great items? Any ideas and tips or comments would be appreciated. By the way, I just discoverd this today and I think is so GREAT!! Thanks!
