I put them in our bedroom closet - the kids don't snoop much yet. They know they aren't allowed in our bedroom simply because they leave the door open and our cats get in our closet and hide. Then we lock our room when we have a babysitter, which is hardly ever. I'm a SAHM and hubby works out of the home, so we're home all the time with them

My favorites are the Coca Cola commercials, Foldgers, and I always love the Norelco commercials

We open them Christmas morning. When I was growing up, we got to pick ONE present to open Christmas Eve night before bed. I wanted to keep that going with our kids, but hubby says no - guess I'll let him think he's putting his foot down on that one With our kids, if they open one, they'll keep begging until they get to open them all on Christmas Eve. Either that or they won't go to bed because they'll be so hyper LOL...last year, our 7 year old didn't go to sleep until 2am because he kept swearing he heard the reindeer on the roof, or swore he saw Santa flying through the sky...yes, we did the Santa tracker

OMG lol...Thanks for reminding me We have our things on layaway, so I didn't even think to buy any Have to do that this week as well!

We stay home - with 3 young kids, it means a lot to me to be HOME on Christmas morning. All of my family is up in Wisconsin and they get upset that we don't go up there, but they just don't see it the way I do. They are invited here every year, but no one ever shows because they have their own tradition We always have a busy Christmas Eve getting everything ready and cleaned up as hubby's mother, uncle, and grandma come over on Christmas day early afternoon. We just sit around munchin' on different food and spend time together.

Of course LOL - we kept saying that we finished on BF, but then I realized that we only had the kids done....ok, and a couple gifts for ourselves (computers) We're not sure what we're getting anyone else (parents), but we'll have to find something soon LOL

I love my hubby....I really do...just maybe not enough to camp out for a 360 He'd love one, but he's one that will wait until the prices come down before he'll buy it. That's what he did with the xbox. Not saying that there's NOTHING I wouldn't camp out for though LOL...different strokes for different folks though right? Good luck to anyone who will be in the running for one though

The sad part about this whole thing is that people are too lazy to just get a job - instead they have to steal from others who work hard for that money I just don't understand how people can live with themselves after doing that to someone.... Good luck getting it all straightened out. From what I have heard, PayPal is really good about helping solve these kinds of issues.

I think they're a new company? I'm not sure - but when you order prints, it's always the same price no matter how many you order (they're pretty cheap), and then shipping for photos is a flat rate of 99 cents per order. That is something that definitely hasn't been beat!

I don't go to Kmart unless I absolutely HAVE to anymore. In my opinion, it has definitely gone downhill Every store I have been in seems so dark and just "depressing" and the employees are always hard to get help from. Granted, I've had issues with Walmart, but they always take care of them.

Has anyone used winkflash.com??? I ordered our 4x8 photo cards from them on 12/1 and recieved them today. They did state that they were about 4 days behind with the holidays (understandable). I got them today. So, 9 days from ordering, I didn't think was too bad - especially for the price. I got 30 of them for just under $12.00. I had heard that their photos were very dark compared to what you see on the computer, but mine were about the same. I think depending on what you have your settings at, it could be true. So anyway, I know this is pushing it, but I ordered 32 wallets of each of our 3 children (96 wallets in total) for $11.54. All these prices INCLUDE shipping I have to say, I'm definitely impressed! Now, the wallets will get here just before Christmas, but JUST in time for me to send out I just didn't want to order all the prints if I wasn't going to be happy, so I waited until I got the photo cards.

Tonight's the night, isn't it? We have our stockings up and ready to go! Baby got 2 Christmas bibs, Christmas board books, and a stuffed animal, while the boys got a couple Christmas books, Christmas notepad, stuffed animal, and a few little candies. (St. Nick told me ) This is the first year we are doing this for the kids - My parents did it only a couple times when I was a kids

Just proud of my artwork LOL...I made me a little collage and had some fun with Paint Shop Pro (yes, I'm addicted). Enjoy http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/woodie1976/Amy/holidayhome.jpg

Well, on BF, I put a desktop computer & digital camera on layaway at Walmart, so I consider those my gifts ... HOWEVER, hubby has something for me on layaway too but he gave someone else the receipt to hold on to LOL...I honestly don't know - The kids usually get me candles, so I act surprised every year I would definitely do a day at a spa or simply a full day and overnight in a hotel room (even here in town) by myself. All I would do is sleep Last year, I was very surprised though because hubby got me a white gold necklace with heart pendant w/3 diamonds in the middle. That wasn't the best part...he actually put a lot of thought into it I was 8 months pregant with our 3rd child and he told me that each diamond symbolizes eternal and unconditional love from the children (he said the heart was our love). Not sure if someone told him that, or if he came up with it on his own, but I'll bite

Thanks so much for the replies - I just figured because it was December, it should have been sent already
-
I know I signed up for it since it's only online for December, but have not received anything ? Has anyone else received theirs in email? If so, I would really appreciate if someone would forward it to me at disneylover1976@hotmail.com . And yes, I am begging

I agree that they should have the same rules for all Walmarts - mine does NOT price match anything online
-
Just had to pipe in that even my 10 month old loves her
-
OMG - I would be furious!!! See, I lost my decorations bin which has SOME stuff in it, but nothing really of any value or anything - just things that I like. I'm so sorry

Congratulations! That's so cool! I know a couple days ago, our Walmart STILL had some on the shelf, along with quite a few other BF things (Little People, Care Bears, Hot Wheels, Fairytopia Barbie, ect). -
Ok, I got the Melting Moments Recipes - there's 2 variations and it is a little bit different than the shortbread cookies. I know for a fact that these will literally MELT in your mouth. They are SOOOO yummy! The 2nd recipe is so cool because you can't tell there's a kiss in the middle of it until you take a bite MELTING MOMENTS COOKIES 2 c. flour 1-1/2 c. cornstarch 2/3 c. powdered sugar 2 c. butter or margarine 2 tsp. vanilla Mix ingredients. Shape tsp. of dough into balls. Bake on ungreased pan for 20 min. at 325 degrees. Cool & frost with powdered sugar frosting. Decorate with green frosting holly leaves and red cinnamon candy berries. Makes about 4 dozen. ------------------------------------- MELTING MOMENT KISSES COOKIES Cream together: 1 c. butter (softened) ½ c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. flour 1 c. chopped walnuts (optional) 1 9-oz package Hershey kisses Cream together the butter, sugar & vanilla. Mix in remaining ingredients (except kisses) and chill for 1 hour. Shape dough around chocolate kisses and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes till set (not brown). Cool slightly. Roll in powdered sugar. Makes about 4 dozen.

All I can picture is Christmas with the Kranks when I read that Very nice house

These sound like Melting Moments that my mother and I always made - I'm actually trying them this year again (I've done them a few different years). I'll have to double check to make sure it's the same recipe, but we always took the decorator's icing and decorated with holly leaves & berries. We bought the decorator tips and with the flower tip, we used to make the leaves (3 strips of green) and then the red hots for the berries.
