I think a lot of smaller towns only have Walmart and maybe one or two other choices of store is the reason why they are doing what they are. Luckily for those of us that live in larger cities we have more choices and don't have to give our money to Walmart. Before our Kmart closed they were my first choice then Target because it is so conjested trying to get in/out of Walmart and also find parking. Now my first choice is Target which is closer then Walmart if I abosolutly have too.

About two weeks ago when I went to Target I used my debit card for a purchase and the cashier told me I had been pre-approved for a Target credit card. I was stunned and she act like she was also. I know this is not the thread for that and I don't know how to start one yet, but does anyone have anyone feed back on that? You can send me a private message, start the thread or let me know how to start one.

My husband seems to think that it will be after the superbowl.

I have called the airline reservation and was able to get a web special over the phone.

The paper is what they play w/ most of the time at that age and a lil older when you have racked your brain and searched high/low for a gift and then they play with something that only cost you 50 cent. I remember the days!

I normally check sidestep first then go the airlines's website that has the lowest price for any additional discounts or minus the booking fee. Prices are normally the same as sidestep though.

Where did you see the price for $149 on flstudio?

Check w/ other employees to see if their spouses work at any stores locally to see if you can get discounts on store items or restaruants. See if company or VP has season tickets to football game (if there is a team in your area) and donate to the party. Also just talk to the store managers of some stores to see what deals they can give you if you state that the item came from them when you give the prize. All stores like free advertisment.

This is off your topic but gave me a good idea for something else. This idea is great when someone retires also. Have everyone that comes to the retirement party or before put in there moment and thoughts. I am going to share this w/ my coworkers since we are getting ready to plan a retirement party. Thanks

Not to be mean but the 1yr is not going to remember what you bought anyway. Find something that you like or want him to have and just buy it. Wait until he becomes a teenager then try to decide what to buy for $65.

My son has one, if I am not mistaken you don't have to put the headphones on the hear and have the conversation but you can still play the games live against someone else. I will ask my son and get back w/ you. I asked my husband about not listening will playing the game; if you don't use the headphones if they come with the package you can still play the games against someone else or you can set the settings but that does not guaruntee that the other person may not use offensive language still. Best option: don't use headphones.

If you think about the date that the rumored sale is suppose to be that is before the items that were able to be put on layaway are put back on the floor which they will not have run for. So what they are attempting to do (if it happens) is unload merchanise before the clearance items hit the floor. Opinion only:smart:

It looks like it depends on what player you are looking for. If it is a popular player you can get the deal, otherwise the prices are higher.

I just joined yesterday and I spend all day on the laptop looking at deals and reading postings about BF. When I woke up this morning this site was the first I went too to look for more deals and read more postings. I really hope that I do not get too addicted to this site. Thanks again to whoever started this site.

I found out about this site yesterday from ClarkHoward.com (email message) which was just happen to be cyber monday. I am so glad I found it when I did. I purchased 1/2 carat white gold earrings from Walmart for $188 ; today I looked on the Walmart site and they are listed for $498:eek: . I am really loving this site and enjoy reading that other people went throught the same thing I did on BF. I am hooked already; all I did yesterday was read postings and came back today to read more and look for more deals. Can't wait until next Monday for more cyber deals . Congrats to everyone that was able to get the TV. It was the first time I went to BF and was not able to get what I wanted, the TV . My superstore had 3, my husband was #4 ; missed it by one minute. The first person in line had been there since 1230am.

I bought the 1/2 carat white gold stud earrings for $188. It was a great deal to me.

Since Walmart did not to well on BF that means that they will have more sales and price rollbacks to come right? I'm still hoping for the 52" tv at/or close to the price it was on BF.

The 52" TV was the only thing I was that was a STEAL (half price). The next closest price for the exact same tv and/or tv of that size was $699 after a $150 mail-in rebate at Best Buy.
