Last year was the first year we did not camp out. By early Thanksgiving evening- I found everything on my list on-line at a cheaper price- my shopping was 90% complete by 9 pm Thanksgiving Day. Previous years proved that if you want the cheap-cheap electronics, you will need to camp out. Any Best Buy blockbuster items are a camp-out must! Computers- plan on being one of the first 25 in line. TV's- the first 50 and cameras- the first 75. In our area, the Best Buy line will be 200 people long by 9pm. Watch the ads the weeks prior to BF. We needed another laptop last year- but got a great deal at Walmart a couple weeks before BF. We still needed to be in line early, but didn't need to camp out that week.

I have been camping out for BF for 13 years. Most years when CompUSA opened at midnight- we were out by 8pm Thursday and then straight to BB. This is the first year I wasn't in line for a store opening! Amazon had matching prices for CD's and DVD's- boxed sets too! So I did most of my shopping last night at 10 pm. Free shipping! No tax! Changed my alarm to go off at 6:30 am. Left at 7:30am and home by 10am and everything I did buy was 'small' deals that I could have lived without. All around- the online deals have been better for just about everything from Mini SD cards to VS.

TY! Great deal. I purchased two splashes (must be Classic Collection for free/free promo) and two of the $10 clearance baskets. I matched the sprays to 2 lotions that I had previously bought on sale. I crossed off 4 gifts from my holiday shopping list for about $7/gift. Total OOP was $28.23. Deal is actually better if done twice, but my gift list is not large and I can only keep giving B&BW so many times! Thank You- this completed partial sets that I have been 'sitting' on for awhile.

Both of my girls shop at aero(15 & 19) but I have taught them to head straight for the clearance racks. Shopping later in the season saves quite a bit and if they wait and shop at the end of the season, they clean up. My older dd is real good at finding jeans for $9.xx and shirts for $2.xx.

I went to our Office Depot and picked up a 12 pack of Foray stick pens($5.79)- figured I'd get them for .79 + tax. When I got to the register, they rang up $2.59- I had to go back and get another box to reach the $5.00 minimum. Once they were rung up, I paid .20 for two- 12 packs of pens! The man in front of me bought a box of 3 reams of paper for $9.99 and paid $5.xx after tax and the coupon! I told the cashier- "bummer that was a good deal too, but I needed the pens".... she told me to wait ten minutes and I could use another coupon-- they had a stack of 100 on the counter!!! Ended up being a good day at Office Depot.

My CVS is still 50%!!

Okay, this $5 off is confusing.... It's not based on what you spent... Not that I know what it's based on, but.. Just got home from shopping with mom and sis. We all ran into CVS- just to get the Aleve- $2.99 with a $1.00 ECB. **I rang out first- $2.99-$1.00 coupon = $1.99 and paid with a $2.00 ECB coupon= no charge and no $5.00 coupon. **Mom paid second- $2.99-$1.00 coupon = $1.99 and paid with a $2.00 ECB coupon- no charge, BUT, she received a $5.00 coupon on her receipt. **Sis paid third- $2.99-$1.00 coupon = $1.99 and paid $1.99- no ECB coupons- and no $5.00 coupon. We are all registered on-line with CVS- the ONLY difference between our cards is-- my mom got hers by requesting it on-line- not the store application?????

I loved the camp out too! I got one laptop on BF and one this morning- both were good deals. BF was worth it even if I didn't get the laptop.

You should have tried- same thing with me- I got there at 9:59 and the line outside was real long- I was about number 30, but once we got inside, there were only 14 people that wanted the computers, by the time I checked out- about 25 minutes later, the line was 21 people long with one computer still left.

Thank you soooo much for the post- ran to my BB and got one! If I had waited to read the ads, I would have missed out, but as soon as I woke up I checked my new favorite web-site! My BB had 22 in stock and 21 people in line. Different model number, same computer. BF = L35-S2151; Today's add is L35-S2174.

Newbie here... I spent some time reading through all the posts- I learned so much- Thanks! I just picked up this stationary on my lunch and it was marked down to $1.74. I picked up one box-(they were marked $3.48)- remembered reading that we should scan the item to verify the actual price- found out they were cheaper and went back to get 3 more. They are so cute!
