  22. Well we make Christmas eve a visiting night we grab a slice of pizza grad our gifts that need to go to the people we are visiting. We stop and see friends at 2 different houses eat and enjoy our time together on our way home we get a cup of hot chocolate and got see the Rhema Lights. Then home we go we sit down and watch a Charlie Brown Christmas, Frosty and a longer Christmas movie, last year was Elf. DS9 will leave out reindeer food & snacks for Santa. Before the kiddos go off to bed we hang our Christmas key ornaments on the tree there are 3 of them you hang the shepherd's key on a low branch to signify Christ's humble birth; the Magi's key on a top branch, near the star they followed; and the Christ key in the middle of your tree, because Jesus was crucified on the center cross. This brings back the true meaning of Christmas for us.
  23. One of the men from the nursing home that I was adopting for Christmas has passed away they called me today and asked me if I would please take someone else because they are so short on donors this year. I was able to pick up just about everything for James, blanket, toiletries, shoes and candy. I still need to find a jogging suit for him and I am iffy about some white t-shirts. I had already picked up most of the things for Larry before he passed away, some I can pass on to the Ken, the guy they just gave me others I am just going to leave with them at the home...I don't have the heart to return it so I am sure that they can find someone to use it. This need has truly touched my heart.
  24. I found this today when I got home from work there it was in my mail box...it is just perfect...and I have no idea where my person found a Charlie Brown Christmas Tree it can with book and Linus' blanket to keep it warm. She also sent me a pretty Christmas Tree ornament to represent the Charlie Browns Christmas....all that it says is from your SS in Georgia....hum I went back a few posts trying to figure out who it is...hum http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w213/mcknight_colleen/SSGottaDeal002.jpg DS9 is a ham and had to be in a picture...lol http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w213/mcknight_colleen/SSGottaDeal001.jpg
