Thanks, I don't feel so bad now. I bought Soooo... much at Kmart toy clearance I was hoping Target would also have great deals for age 3 & 11 girls.

I worked all day & now have to babysit the grandkids tonight! Of all times for my kids to have their aniversary! I don't see any big items listed on clearance. Last night one store I went to only had 1 isle of clearance just thrown in stacks. After christmas there seem to have been more Fisher Price. Is anyone finding Littlest pet shop or FP??

I went last night too. People are buying them out at 50%. Alot of items are gone. Looks like it will be slim pickings at 75%. I didn't see the big ticket items like the winter clearance either. Glad I got in on the Kmart toy clearance. I'm stocked and really don't need any more!

I have the DC14 & when I got home tonight my husband just remarked again how much he LOVES it. When a man says it has more suction than his shop vac it must be good! LOL I've had mine for a year now.

Kitchen clearance started on Wednesday in many stores. They do go fast. Don't give up there may be returns. Also check regular isles. Some miss getting ticketed. FYI if you buy the Areo Garden get the extra bulbs on clearance. They burn out! Glad to hear so many are finally getting some deals.

Price is still too high. Did you scan it? They should go 75%. I've purchased several under $100 on clearance. Also check Kitchenaid.com. for rebates. I have gotten their products in store on clearance & they had rebates!

I thought I got lucky and found more Oxy mandoline slicers but they were $40. Deals are few and far beween. Nothing I need or want. Maybe people are buying everything at 50%. They don't even stock the sale items. Only a few razors left, and now they are gone. Kitchen reset has lower shelves & not much stock.

This isn't my regular store. After I insisted the lead told the cashier if they scan take them. Luckly all scanned, and believe me there were lots! I used my coupons and got back gift cards. Great cashier, it was the lead cashier that was the problem. Had she not taken them I would have called. After, I even tried the kiosk to prove it to her but you can't print them there anymore. Fyi, Oxio mandolin slicer today $10 reg. $40. Not much else, I hate their JIT buying now.

This happened to me last month at a store I haven't been to in awhile. I did stand my ground & they did take them. The worst part is if you look at the new Target coupons they say 1 per transaction not per purchase! The stores now have the right to limit qty. It's all YMMV and each cashier is different. Some stores where people have abused coupons they are cracking down. I've heard of others having the same problem as you. Target will lose business since other stores double coupons.

I know I should have played my hunch, I had such a strong feeling that would happen. Oh well live & learn. My trunk was already full from the Dillards sale!!

I was supprised to hear no more LIZ at Dillards. One clerk just said they were not going to carry it anymore, another said Liz's son it not going to continue the line!

90% off here in Ohio too & kmart also FYI. Pixo's ,mini etch-a-scetch, books,slippers, candy, cards. Not too much left went fast. So sad I didn't see the Kodak gift cards like last year. I was able to finally take my coupons for the Diji & other leap items I bought at 75% & they adjusted them & gave cash back!!! I LOVE Target.

I'm taking the Grandchildren to see Elmo friday! They better not go 90% then. Although 90% is usually 7 days after the holiday. Every store was different here for Christmas. I'll try Thursday.

This has happened to me also. They did put my items back on the floor, luckley it was just food. They keep a log book with the scanned back items on small reciepts up front at the service desk, to verify the item that was left at the store. You show them your reciept & if it matches they will need to either get the item back off the sales floor (if it is still there) or refund your money.

they've switched to a "Just in Time" system recently, so there is a lot less back stock. And that is not good for us... Just in time is terrable for us!!! This means they order product from their distributers as they need it. They will not be stocking or over buying. My company started this several years ago to cut down on inventory, even when the economy was good. Once this starts it will not stop.

I found one Aussie reg $99 for $25. I also like to know if a product is good or not. Target is not always return friendly, especially with electronics. As far as morals, it is not always a moral discussion but a warning so some innocent & especially new people to this thread do not get in trouble.
