been listening off and on for at least a week

we don't do a "theme"...just all the ornaments that we have collected/made over the years My mil puts a tree in every room of her house (even little tress in the bathrooms)..she decorates to match each room

I think some ppl put them up early b/c it is mire fun to put them up in the warmer weather...once it gets really cold in Dec it's not nearly as much "fun"

my grandmother..you just never know what it will be...like last year when she gave dh a Steak and Shake g.c....we have never even eaten there

my mom does ham but my mil does different stuff one year she made chinese food from scratch..one year she did homemade Italian..it's actually kind of nice b/c you get so much ham/turkey from other party's

that would be good..a smart move on their part..get your $$ before you have a chance to spend it at other stores :)

I agree..I never want to spend $ on decorations b/c I have so many gifts to buy..I usually end up using some of the $ I get for Christmas to buy a few decorations for next year
