You COULD always get him something different... but Beats by Dr. Dre headphones are the IN thing for young people. You could definitely buy a better product with less name recognition or appeal but ultimately your son would probably be happier with the Beats headphones. Keep searching, you might find a better deal for them!

well I'm not a quaker so I don't celebrate thanksgiving for those reasons. Oh well I've given up on this topic, you failed to understand the concept I was giving you and I guess I failed to make you realize it. You can't tell me you haven't celebrated someone's birthday or have seen others celebrate it on a day other than their actual birthdate.... it happens all the time in my family... if someone's birthday is on a monday and not everyone can meet that day we just go ahead and celebrate it on a day that we can all come together. I haven't the energy or the time to explain my ideas further as I've already explained it enough. Oh well, Happy thanksgiving to you and to all.

I do agree with what you're saying but I'm not entirely convinced that if there were no people there to sell tickets or make profit by selling that it wouldn't 'ruin' people's thanksgiving. Seriously, people want a good deal and year by year it gets earlier SURE by people who want to make profit but ALSO by people who just want to get their deal and want to ensure that by getting there earlier than the year before. BUT just to bring this onto a different note.... who's to say thanksgiving has to be on a thursday? If you observe the holiday for religious reasons, ie. Christian, where does the Bible say 'Thou shalt celebrate thanksgiving on the second to last thursday of November'. No where am I right? As Christians we have freedom to celebrate THANKSGIVING everyday, right? So as far as people missing Thanksgiving... that's subjective to the person. If you celebrate it even just for gathering of family (which is the most popular reason) you can still celebrate it anyday you want. I'm not trying to be difficult here I'm just trying to prove a point that 'making people miss their thanksgiving' is all very subjective. BUT I do agree with you that in general ticket selling is greedy, period.

I do agree that it's not very Christian-like in the aspect of kindness towards others. But, first of all people who go there have things they would like to buy I'm sure... they wouldn't just go there to sell tickets. Also, the lines are going to start early regardless of ticket sellers..... that's just a fact. See if the people infront of you or at the beginning of the line sell tickets.... chances are some will but some won't which means they're not there because they wanted to sell tickets.

hey does anyone know if they have outlets on the outside of the building? I was thinking about bringing a small tv and a gamecube or something to play with . any thoughts on this?

I'm in a bit of a predicament this year.... I'm going to be spending 500-600 dollars this year but the thing is in the past I've had problems when I'm paying over a certain amount on my Debit Card. I know there's a certain limit I can spend using the card and last year I made two purchases, one for ~400 and when I went to go make my second purchase of ~500-600 it wouldn't go through even though I had more than enough in the bank to pay for it. Luckily for me my friend was there and she paid for it with her card and I paid her back that same day. I would really like to avoid carrying that much cash with me, but if that's my only option then it'll have to do. Any suggestions for me? *Sorry if this is a repost, please refer me to the appropriate thread*

Yes Fry's has BF deals as well and good ones at that, the bad part is as far as I know their sales vary from store to store and the BF ad comes out only around Monday. My friend said he bought a 32' inch HDTV lcd for 300 because he was the 2nd in line and they only had two of those in stock. I don't know if he was lying because he likes to exaggerate but he also mentioned PC's for 150.

The only time they'll price match is in this scenario: Last year my friend had a ticket for one of the toshiba laptops and he was pretty much the very last person to pick up their toshiba laptop... somehow bestbuy either miscounted or sold off one too many toshiba laptops. So they called the manager in and he told them to price match it to a Compaq that was identical in specs.

So funny, my pastor was just joking that he wanted to get a washer and dryer at BB and lo and behold they actually have a sale for one. Sounds like a good price on it too, if I needed one I would definitely pick that one up.
