At my Carter's they gave me the gift check when I used the coupon. Not sure if that the same everywhere though.

I think a 5 year old will be ok but with caution. My 7 y/o son did not just start right off from the start and was able to do it, it took him a couple of tries and I bought him the two wheel ones to help with the stability. Have you checked the two wheel ones out? The only thing is you don't get a tool or a cover when you buy the two wheeled ones.

I bought my son a size 4 in these last year and they fit perfectly, actually I thought his ran a bit bigger than average. I bought him a new pair for his birthday and I bought a size 5 this time. I wonder if it is for girls sizes.

For the price matches did you take your ads in with you to show the cashier. When I go grocery shopping I take my other grocery stores ads with me and show the prices to the cashier. I think I might do what you are suggesting. The only way I think it might not work is if Walmart does not carry that certain brand of the MP3 player and whatnot.

In my experience with my local JCPenny's the do more markdowns but it is a slow process and then it is very picked over. It is a definite hit and miss with my local Penny's. I get the best deals on my DD's clothing because she is so tiny, wearing a Jrs 0 and sometimes a Jrs 1 and those are the sizes I seem the find the most of.

Toys were still scattered at my store tonight but most were marked down to 50% off. I am so holding out for the 75% off because ours had a lot of toys still left. On a good note they had the 4 pack of Secret deodorant for $3.50 and I am sure there are coupons floating around somewhere and that would be a great deal. I bought two packs of them. Also the bulk items are now 30% off at my store. I stocked up on the cereal. This was Cedar Rapids Iowa.

Oh yeah the last time I checked the Giga Pets were marked down on Amazon too. You might want to check them out too.

I told the cashier at the TCP store that I needed such and such size and she said they did not carry them but I could order them online and I told her I would rather not pay shipping so she gave me a little business card with the code on it. HTH:)

I went to Sears today and they were having an additional 30% off lowest ticketed clearance price. I found girls Levi's for $5.99 and some other brands too. This was the price without the extra off.

This great sale was also going on in my regular GAP store too. I found DD the boyfriend cut jeans for $6.97 and at Gap Kids DS1&2 polo shirts for $2.97-3.97, athletic pants for the same, a sweater for DS $1.97 too. I found some great deals. The boy jeans were $9.97-14.97 on sale. This was in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

WooHoo thank you! I just bought my daughter the criss cross shoes she has been wanting and I kept telling her not now, they cost too much but I just got two pairs of shoes for $16.xx. I am hoping to go back and find some more but they are going fast!!

WooHoo I was able to get the Dora castle for $19.xx tonight, it wasn't marked down but I went and scanned it to see if it was less than the sticker and it was. I have been wanting to get this for my DD for Christmas. The black dots were also 75% off at our store so I bought some Bobby Jack hairpins and keychains. The cashier also said they will marking more toys down next week, she did not tell me what day though.

Looks like some great deals!! Time to start shopping for Christmas!

I am just curious after reading the above post, about being able to play the gamecube games on the Wii, is this true? I was debating on buying this system for my kiddos because they just recently broke their old one. This is a great deal IMO!!
