We need one of those! It make me nervous when my dh gets up on the roof. He says it's no big deal. Last year, he let my then 8 y.o. son climb up the ladder, too! I was so mad!

My kids don't have stockings (:: hangs head in shame::). Well, they did, but one year I packed them in the same box that also had my snowglobe in it. The snowglobe was packed in styrofoam in its original box, but I guess it got too hot or something over the summer and it busted. Everything in the box was mildewed and ruined. I have never replaced the stockings because I really don't have a good place to hang them up. The kids really haven't seemed to mind. They get plenty of stuff under the tree. One day when I get a house with a fireplace, I will get new stockings!

Mmmmmmm........ My SIL sweet potatoe cassarole.... pecan pie.... My granny's dressing/stuffing My mouth is watering already!

We got a Santa last year. He got a hole in him (I think some brats across the street messed with him when I wasn't home!). I stitched it up, and it worked fine. Hope he still works this year because a new one is not in my budget!

It's all done by me and that's the way I like it!

We had a snow/ice storm a few days before Christmas last year. I like the snow OK, but I hate the ice. It made it hard to go shopping, etc. Of course, we left town the next day for Fort Lauderdale. Everything was melted by the time we came home!

The price before tax and shipping with my charge discount was $ 26.25. I was at Kohls yesterday and my store did not have this toy in stock. My 4 year old dd has been wanting this so badly. Also, I loved the Polar Express. I had never heard of it until last year. My kids and I read it before the movie came out. I just loved that story. I enjoyed the book more than the movie, and I did like the movie!

White on the tree inside. One year I tried colored ones, but dh agreed with me that it just wasn't the same. Someday, I'll have a larger house where I can have two trees--one with white lights, one with colored ones. We do have colored lights outside, if dh puts them up.

I've got it but I've not seen it yet. Trying to wait until after Thanksgiving to watch my Christmas movies..........

I would say less than 20. I've never really been big on Christmas Cards. Some years I haven't done it at all.

I really don't remember. I guess I just figured it out. My brother is 4 years older so I guess he helped me figure it out. This is the first year my ds (9) doesn't believe and he told dd (7), but I think she would have figured it out anyway. I have threatened them not to breathe a word to their little sister (4).
