Thanks for the heads up on the great sale!! I finally placed my order, but I couldn't use the coupon because I didn't spend $15 - but it was still a great deal.

I preordered the system at Game Crazy and a bundle at Toysrus for a backup. They only received 9 at Game Crazy and I was #15, so I had to buy the bundle at Toysrus that came with 6 games my son doesn't even want for a lot more $$. I hope Game Crazy gets another shipment, so I can return the one to Toysrus.

We have been to every Walmart around the Columbus area, and haven't had any luck. The only ones we were able to find had hair.

Which is better - a dual screen dvd player or two separate dvd players? I'd like my kids to watch the same dvd when we are traveling. Are the car dvd players (which say they have no battery - but plug into car power) able to use an AC adapter to use inside a hotel, etc?[/quote We bought separate dvd players for our kids last year and it has worked out great because there is no more fighting over which movie to watch. Our daughter is 6 and son is 11, so they usually don't want to watch the same shows.

My husband came home from work today and was telling me a woman where he works was talking about how crazy some people are because she was driving through her neighborhood and someone had already put their tree up and had it turned on. She said it is always the people that have 100 cats in the house that put the tree up so early. He said he told her "We have already put up 5 trees in the house and we only have 1 cat and 3 dogs" I was so shocked because he is usually quite, but he said she was acting so snotty and rolling her eyes, he couldn't help himself.

I do all the shopping for our house, all my mom's and grandmother's shopping too. They hate shopping, so I buy everyone gifts on their list and wrap them up. They never even see what they have bought until Christmas Eve when everyone opens their gifts. I really like shopping, so it gives me an excuse.
