I own a 61" Samsung DLP, it is awesome and I shopped around a lot before purchasing, actually looking at the TV's and their picture. The Mitsubishi was sitting next to the Samsung on the floor at Bestbuy and the Samsung had better, brighter colors due to a much better contrast ratio and Samsung proprietary technology.

"Best" really depends on what type. If you pick up a copy of Consumer Reports from this month you'll see the TV's ranked by Plasma, LCD, and DLP. With some exceptions, Sony's and Samsung's are ranked highest. For a good cheaper set, Vizio is good. But, you should read the reviews. If you like a TV - copy the set name/model # and go to a place like Amazon or Crutchfield and read reviews on it, best way to get a good idea from actual users.

I've been buying emachine computers for over 6 years and have never had a problem. My youngest is using the 6yr old computer for kid games and it works fine. They're like any other computer, prone to break. Check consumer reports, you'll see they're actually rated good. I also didn't know they had a laptop, wonder if it will be one of the doorbuster deals announced in the AM?!?

I got the $99 computer last year at OD. Do not wait in line for it! Come back to OD later in the AM after you have most of your shopping done. They gave us a flyer in line and when we walked in they directed us over to the computers to order it online at the store. And I waited for hours - bad move! Check out the Tech Depot link on the OD website and configure/make/order a bare bones computer (deselect some options). I bought the computer at OD, then a 128MB video card, and 1GB RAM chip at COMPUSA. Good computer, select some of the options at OD when you order - check your final price - or buy some other cheap add-ons on BF and you have a good deal.
