  2. So true! I love Amazon!! So easy, excellent customer service, comparable or better pricing, and free shipping!!
  3. Amazon is testing an offer of $7.99 per month for a prime membership. No yearly fee. You can cancel at any time. http://www.washingtonpost.com/business/technology/amazon-prime-new-monthly-subscription-option-steps-up-rivalry-with-netflix-hulu/2012/11/06/393ab77e-281d-11e2-96b6-8e6a7524553f_story.html Don't know if this is the right place to let people know...feel free to move this.
  4. This is a great idea. Dryer sheet and totes. I'll test it out this week. Thanks so much.
  5. I have young kids so I can't put the presents out. Well not the majority of them...
  6. Thanks for that, but none of them talk about doing it or not on Black Friday. Also, how do you do it? Take all the merchandise to customer service?
  7. I want to start wrapping early but I won't have room to store it all and I don't want the bows crushed. I use real ribbon and like pretty packages. I thought about storing them in the attic but I'm scared they will have that attic smell. Lol!
  8. I love to go out with my hubby. It's a date night for us. We always stop and get Del Taco somewhere in the middle of it. I love getting the deals and I love the hustle and bustle! I love spending money. Sounds weird but it's true! It's so fun! Lol!!
  9. Never done this before and I am hoping to cut down on the number of stores to visit. Can I price match on Black Friday? If so, how do you do it and where do I go to do it?
  10. It's always harder to buy them for my dad and my hubby. Their stockings are usually a little skinnier than the rest. Anyone have any good ideas?
  11. This will be our fourth year doing Elf on a Shelf. The girls love it!! Last year Buddy came along with Charlie so that each girl will have an elf to use for their kids. I get ideas off Pinterest. So fun and funny. Hubby and I love putting them into crazy situations. Your teens will love it! Maybe they won't admit it but they will love it.
  12. How are the apps on the Fire in comparison to Apple? Is there a big selection? Are there all the games and kid apps like Apple has? I only have experience with our iPad, but would rather get something cheaper for my 8 year old if I can.
  13. Like I said, I know nothing about them so thanks for all the info. I knew there were injuries with them but I thought it was because if the lack of a net. Good to know about two jumping at the same time. It gets windy here, not tornado like, but windy. So we will definitely need to secure it down. Again thanks for the info and tips.
  14. What is this bouncy dog? I haven't seen anything like that. Sounds like something my DD might like.
  15. Santa will be bringing a trampoline for my two daughters, ages 2.5 and 8. I know nothing about them except that I will need to buy one with a net. Are any brands better than others? I live in Vegas, so the sun is hard on things here. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
  16. Love both your traditions! I love hearing what everyone does! It gets me even more excited! So fun!
  17. Another one we have done the last two years isn't all that different, but maybe some of you haven't heard of it. I have a ton of Christmas books, so I wrap 24 of them and the girls choose one each night to open up and read. They LOVE this tradition!! Even though the books aren't new stories, they love the surprise of which book they chose and unwrapping it. They fought over it in the beginning, so I had to have them take turns choosing and opening.
  18. This year that will be new to us is to have a box the kids get to open on Christmas Eve that includes hot chocolate, a Christmas movie, new pajamas for the whole family, popcorn, holiday marshmallows, fun socks, and a new Christmas Book to read before bed. I think my girls will love it!
  19. We all have heard about the "normal" traditions for Christmas...decorate the tree, read The Night Before Christmas on Christmas Eve, driving to look at lights, etc. What are some less heard of traditions your family does?
  20. I have always put my merchandise on hold Wednesday night then picked it up on Black Friday. I've never had a problem doing that. I get in line (or lack thereof) right away and leave. I love Kohls!!!
  21. A tablet for my two girls. They are constantly hogging the iPad!! Also a trampoline.
