  1. Thanks for all the suggestions.
  2. Yes, when I drove through Parma I made sure that my white socks were on and then I tied a pink flamingo to the top of my car.
  3. I drove past Rally's (border of Cleveland and Parma, Ohio) and I saw that after five on weeknights burgers, hot dogs, and milkshakes are 69 cents. They are that price all day Sunday! This may be that location only, but it is definitely worth checking out if you live near one!
  4. Gator Pam, What a great deal! I always find great deals but nothing ever fits!
  5. To the dollar spot I go! They have some really cool stuff I can use.
  6. Wow. Where did you find this? In the clearance section?
  7. You can go to www.openoffice.org and get a free generic version of Microsoft Works. I use it and it is just as good. I would try that out for free before I purchased anything. I agree with the university discounts, too.
  8. My brother and I decided to put our money together to buy mom a digital camera since she seemed to really love mine when we were on vacation. THe problem is we both maxed out on spending on her camera (max is pretty low when you are 20 and 22). We still need to get her an SD card? Anyone know of any preferably brick and mortar deals or if not deals from a reliable online store? I think all she needs is 256, but we can afford 512 if it is only a little more. Thanks!
  9. I get Kauffmans and Dillards confused a lot...but one of them is changing!
  10. At our Dillards, everything was expensive as usual. The lady said they are changing into Macys on September 2.
  11. Our thrift store always has good board games for a dollar or two. I have never gotten one with a missing peice!
  12. Wow I didn't see the responses. Glad to see you saw my ideas. It's just that this store always has good deals. Maybe we need a Marc's thread like the Target thread. :)
  13. I don't know who Joy Mangano is but my mom sure loves her. I'll inform her of this deal. Thanks.
  14. I want one! I haven't gotten one since Christmas.
  15. I was curious to see if I could see Staples bargains for next week...we have some good ones. Elmer's glue 9 cents a bottle Translucent pencil box 44 cent (warm deal) 3 hole put in your notebook hole puncher 58 cents (These are usually $2) Pocket sized stapler 66 cents 2 for $5 Staples 7 pocket expandable files Staples mini gel stick pens Staples Sonix retractable ball point pens Scotch C-28 dispenser & few other types of pens (don't feel like typing) Pental RSVP Pens Free After Rebate There are some other great deals but these are the best. I can't link to the ad right, so go to Staples.com, type in your zipp code and click on "view upcoming circular" red tab.
  16. Thanks. Parents are moving to Florida and I am afraid of going to the beach without water shoes on. I don't care how dorky I look!
  17. Nick and Nora cotton pajamas on sale for $6.88 (some packages) or $12 something. These are ladies. And I think this has been mentioned but the Bulk Section had a lot of things for 15% off. This includes diapers. A huge box for $22 (I don't have children so I don't know how good of a deal this is)
  18. I am rejoicing that I can once again go to Fridays. I love grown up mac and cheese.
  19. They have rubber stamps for teachers $1 for 6 in the school supplies section. Not on sale but a super price.
  20. There wasn't even a mention of school supplies in my Staples flyer this week. I think kids here go back sometime around August 22 or 28 with colleges varying a lot more.
  21. I need a new bookbag so I was browsing the Target Back to College Ads. There was a page of coupons to click on. http://sites.target.com/site/en/supertarget/btc_coupons.html Some deals are: $1 off a 12 pack of Dr. Pepper and $10 off a compact refridgerator. Kind of odd coupons, I am in college and wouldn't use most of them but to each his own.
  22. The 1 inch binders seemed really flimsy. I would rather pay an extra 25 cents and get a binder I can use for a few years. I got the Flairs, the one cent items, and one Mead 3 subject notebook...since I had to buy the Flairs and wait for a refund, it came to about $10.75 with cash. Then, I was able to use my inkjet coupons so I only paid $1.34. If I get the money back for the Flairs, I actually ended up earning around $6-$7. (I am not sure how it will work out, but I don't care a whole lot, I really like those Flairs. I'm excited! What is a really good price to wait to purchase some looseleaf and a small pocket sized stapler?
  23. Do you think people will be lined up before the store opens like on Black Friday? Mine opens at 11 and that seems like everyone will be out of bed by that time.
