True. Which reminds me I should remove the battery from my Toshiba laptop. Leaving it plugged in with battery inserted isn't good.

Good observation :) If battery life is a major concern, the Toshiba Satellite A65-S1062 for $599 is another bargain laptop worth considering. The deal I linked to expired last week. As the Holiday Shopping season approaches I'm sure we'll see quite a few more laptop deals.

Nice find! The Sceptre X7G-Komodo IV for $319.99 is an amazing deal if you don't need DVI. Although I own a nice Dell 1900FP LCD which has DVI, I use analog and it looks fine to me.
