  1. /me thinks genoandkiddo and 2dles may know each other in real life
  2. LOL this has to be one of the funniest thread topics here :) Nothing special. Regular clothes, sweatshirt, light jacket, comfy tennis shoes and maybe baseball cap.
  3. LOL I like that and welcome to the forums :) Ross
  4. The lines here are pretty tight knit and close together. So unless you have a friend to hold your spot, it's difficult to wander around.
  5. Let's not even discuss digicams or laptops
  6. I'm not sure whether I should be sad or glad I missed out on this deal.

  8. So instead you have a tactical plan all laid out. Exact department location, which aisle and even which shelf has the goodies. Smart thinking
  9. How many of you went to the store BEFORE Black Friday and hid some items? Let's be honest here ... who stashed away a hard drive, video game, toy, or BBQ set?
  10. I have visions of parents being trampled while trying to grab the last coveted "Tickle me Elmo" at Toys-R-Us.
  11. I must agree with you. Computer products come first for me. With TV/DVD's a close 2nd. Lucky dog going skiing in the Alps, have fun and take lots of pics
  12. sdible, I would love to own that Harmony remote but: 1) The price difference is noticeable. 2) I'm not to crazy about the placement of certain buttons on the Harmony for PVR use. The MX500 is an old favorite, works great and is cheap.
  13. Here's another dilemna. How do you decide which stores you go to and in which order?
  14. Even at 4:30 AM (when the stores open at 6:00 AM) you're still 100th in line. What time do you get in line? Which store? How many people were ahead of you?
  15. Yes the backlight is broken/worn out ( ). I can live with it and I got a good deal but this is also a good deal. $59.99 shipped for an awesome universal remote!
  16. I witnessed and remember the WMC saga but was not a participant.
  17. Here are 14 reviews of the Dell 4600 courtesy of ePinions.com Garnered 4 out of 5 stars :)
  18. Thank you for asking your question. I love it when consumers are informed and get a good deal which is what GottaDeal.com is all about :) Personally I have owned 8 Dell desktops, my first was purchased October 2000. It was a Dell Dimension 4100 (P3/866) which still runs like a champ. Why have I owned 8 Dell desktops? Because lately they are INCREDIBLY CHEAP. I have a brand new Dell PowerEdge 400SC server sitting in my kitchen, it's been there for 2 months. $298 after rebate with free shipping was just too good to pass up. Yes it's in the kitchen, which annoys the wife. The desktops have always worked just fine for me, they are asthetically pleasing to look at, QUIET, and reliable. Dell's support isn't perfect but they are available 24/7 via the phone. Definitely buy a Dell, look at the 4600 which is the best bargain.
  19. Because I want it new, with backlight and manual :)
  20. I still might buy it, how much can I get for my MX-500 on eBay? Worst case scenario.
  21. Are you trying to put me into the poor house? No wonder I keep having re-occuring dreams with a Dell Inspiron 8600 saying "buy me Ross - save me ..."
