  1. I actually prefer to shop at Circuit City over Best Buy. I'm not crazy about their super long receipts especially if you just want to buy a music CD.
  2. A few select Circuit City stores will be open today (Friday 2/18/2005) with a close-out sale before finally closing the stores. Most of the items sold will be refurbished, open box, etc. Bloomington 2520 East 3rd St. Bloomington, Ind. West 38th Street 3670 Moller Road Indianapolis, Ind. 3. Sue, The 19" Proview appears to be the PL913S. I don't see any warranty info in the .pdf unless I glanced over it?
  4. It should be sufficient for her needs.
  5. If you don't mind paying sales tax and a slower celeron CPU you can get a killer deal. Dell Small Business lately has an "outrageous deal" for $749 after rebate it comes loaded with Celeron M 350 (1.30 GHz), 15.4 WXGA, 512MB RAM, 40GB Hard Drive, 15.4” WXGA, combo DVD/CD-RW, XP Home and 1 year warranty. If you are interested, the next "outrageous deal" should come around in a few weeks.
  6. woot.com thread Our local Bigs Lots are probably wiped out but it's worth a check.
  7. I just configured a Dell Inspiron 700m for $1,608.00 Good news: The $600 off $1599 coupon code SBX6W2MR419KS7 does work Bad news: It cancels out the default 25% off 700m laptops ($536 savings), not stackable.
  8. I would read up on reviews for both 2001FP and 2005FPW models, unless you watch a lot of movies I would go for 2001FP.
  9. These coupons just get better and better. I especially like the $600 off $1599 you could buy a really nicely loaded 8600 or 700m laptop.
  10. Great deal on the Dell 1704FPV, remember this isn't the lower end E173FP. This model has both analog and DVI ports, along with four USB 2.0 ports.
  11. Sue - what is your budget? Also as Brad mentioned if you can wait, there should be another sale on Dell LCD's. These are usually rebadged Samsung or LG models which carry a 3 year limited mfg warranty. Our Dell UltraSharp 1900FP LCD is 2 yrs 3 months old and we've had absolutely no problems.

  13. I think we have one in Tigard, Oregon not sure. I'll let you know.
  14. Sante Fe Chicken hot sandwich sounds delicious.
  15. Thanks, I could use some cargo shorts and polo shirts!
  16. Double
  17. Thanks! Which sandwiches do you recommend?
  18. You can definitely get a good deal for under $1,000 without a monitor. When Dell has the next round of deals we'll let you know :)
  19. It will be a technology/electronics/computer forum.
  20. It's still going to happen probably in the near future.
  21. is still my favorite.
  22. Ray, how long does it take you to rip/encode those movies? If I got a PDA I'd probably use 512MB or 1GB SD.
