  1. I still love my Dell TrueMobile 1150 PCMCIA card. Sure it's external and only 802.11b but it's a rebadged Orinoco Gold, one of the best WiFi cards ever. Damn I need to get out more often and socialize with humanoids!
  2. Why would someone choose a cheap PCMCIA card over internal mini-PCI? Other than lower price of course.
  3. True but as Brad mentioned there are no rebate hassles which is a huge advantage. Also this isn't your typical Dell Inspiron 1xxx stripped model with Celeron CPU, 256MB, 14.1" XGA, only DVD, integrated video, etc.
  4. If you do have a CostCo membership (or know someone who does) definitely check out CostCoChecks.com.
  5. I have just e-mailed DarthZug's so they're aware of this
  6. Shh just don't tell anyone
  7. Bruce, You're quite the salesperson makes me want to go out and buy one :) That is a very good deal for an extended warranty. Welcome to the forums, please make yourself at home :) Ross
  8. True and for us Oregonians we have 0% sales tax (commence throwing tomatoes at me!)
  9. Thanks I had no idea what this is. Regardless I have a free sample coming :)
  10. Damn, no OR stores I know how you feel
  11. Good idea maybe list the most recent expired coupons at the bottom, so we can compare the hotness level
  12. Yep, if we had 20x the traffic we can justify additional forums but I'd hate to see clutter.
  13. Agreed. They are consistently high, I have yet to find a credible negative review.
  14. Good point I think for the time being we'll just keep 'em in the GottaTalk Lounge.
  15. I wish I could see a 2001FP and 2005FPW side by side to compare.
  16. Thanks for the reminder otherwise a few of us would be a little
  17. Allison, I know how you feel. We have a cheap Hoover vacuum which works just fine http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0001Z88QC
  18. Tip: Pay for your computers and electronics with a CitiBank or Chase credit card for 2 reasons: 1) Earn 1% rebate which is a savings of $5.06 2) Receive a FREE 1 year extended warranty from VISA or MasterCard
  19. Most department stores offer financing. I would check out LNT, Bed Bath & Beyond, Sears, Circuit City, Best Buy, KMart, Target, Walmart, etc.
  20. Our next forum will be a computer/technology/gadget forum sometime in March 2005. Closer to summer, what do you think about a TV/movies discussion forum? We'd love to hear your feedback
  21. Is there a review on that page? I only see specs.
  22. Well that is quite a jump from 15" up to 19". Your next purchase should be a 24" in a few years when they hit ~$500 range.
  23. As long as you're happy - that is what's most important. Welcome to the world of LCD's, you'll never go back to a CRT again :)
