The barbie-type dolls are on sale for $10 if you buy more than 1, so this brings them down to $7.50. ~excuse typos. sent from KF and tired of fixing errors from this damn keyboard

Of the major stores, do we know definitively which ones will? WM, Target, Kmart, TRU, etc. Thanks ~excuse typos. sent from KF and tired of fixing errors from this damn keyboard

same here. DS has exactly 1 gift on his "list" so far and this is it. However, I can't spend $300 on one gift. Even on a good year I wouldn't spend that much on a gift but this year is tighter than usual as I'm out of work. ETA: oh yeah, he has mentioned the 2DS a couple times as well...... that is more doable, but I'm hoping to get for under $100

I was able to get one at about 6:40 *~*Excuse text speak/typos - typing on my phone*~*

got it, thanks. That's good to know in a pinch although I don't want him sucking up all my data plan, lol.

But with the other tablets (i.e, Kindle) - you're not able to use those as 4g with a hotspot when there's no wifi around, right? You're just talking about the Galaxy? Sorry, not all that tech-savvy.
-
so how about the Galaxy Tab 2 at Verizon for $99? That's a good deal, right? I'm looking for my 9 year old and didn't really want to spend $150 for a Kindle (or even $129 as it was the other day). It says you need to pay $10/month for line access. Do all these other tablets have monthly fees? Or they don't because they are all wi-fi only and not 4g? (I know the Kindle doesn't). But then with this I'm probably going to have to increase my data plan as well, aren't I? Becuase I only have the 1GB plan now for my phone. http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/BlackFridayScans/Verizon/scans.php?id=Verizon ETA: D'oh! as I'm typing it out I realize I'm better off with a $129 Kindle (assuming it goes back down) because if I get the Galazy, in addition to the $99 I'll have to pay $120/year line fee. D'oh!

will those be ok for just surfing the net? what about playing games........nothing major just kids' games with Flash on Disney and Nick Jr. type websites.

great idea of something to grab on BF. It's one of those things I always say I"m going to buy but never get around to it. We don't have Cabelas or Gander Mountain though and the 3,000 at HD won't do much good. I think we need at least 6,000 (2 sump pumps which would be the main thing we want to run)

is the Nook Color at Walmart for $99 any good as a tablet for a 9 year old? Will he be able to play online games. I know Miniclip is his favorite site.
-
I'm wondering about this too. They have some deals starting at 8 pm and then some starting at 10 pm....... so for the MA stores will ALL those deals be effective at opening??
-
i started a thread about this earlier but I think it got moved into the Hours thread. I was planning to shop in NH (but not 'til the next morning) but now I'm thinking it might be worth the tax to just stay in MA and have a better chance of getting the stuff I want since the NH stores will start opening at 9 p.m. the night before and will probably be wiped out by the time I stroll in at 5:00 a.m.

It looks like a lot of stores don't even know for sure yet what time they will open. http://www.boston.com/business/articles/2011/11/15/massachusetts_blue_laws_derailing_stores_black_friday_plan/

Good news for me! Apparently, all my stores WON'T be opening at midnight as previously thought! Walmart in MA will now be opening at 4:00 a.m., and Target is reportedly going to be at 1:00 a.m.. No official word on the others yet. So now I don't have to worry about ALL the stores being wiped out by the time I get there at 4-5:00 ish! http://www.boston.com/business/articles/2011/11/15/massachusetts_blue_laws_derailing_stores_black_friday_plan/

i wish we could find more info about it.
-
last year they opened at midnight and there was tons of great discounts (50% off certain items) for the entire day, but it was an additional 20% off only until I believe 10:00 a.m. I made out like a bandit.
-
so walmart will price match? so if I hit walmart first and see stuff that I'm planning to get in TRU/Target/Kmart, I should just get it at Walmart and show them the ad? thanks for everyone's help. I'm not a "wing it" type of gal, I like to have a specific plan and all the different info/policies is overwhelming.
-
also, can someone tell me which of those store will price-match on that day? (TRU, Walmart, Kmart, Target)
