Maybe you can price match if it is the same exact one. Buy it from Walmart and then when Sears puts their LG on sale, you can PM it at Walmart.
-
Wait until the ads come out; it'll pick up .

You just need a $350 laptop for your son unless he is playing some graphic hogging game. No need to spend a lot and you can catch that $350 price now if you shop around a little.

The IT techs will tell you to buy a top of the line machine and the college store has just the model you need, lol. Mostly college students only need enough to surf the net and Word documents and such. They don't need a top of the line laptop unless they are into video editing or heavy gaming. Your basic $350 or so laptop should fill about 90% of all college student's needs. My son is in his second year and he just does papers on it. Hope that helps.

I always thought the Easy Bake Oven was a 'staple' on BF sales, lol.

No, you don't have to be a Prime member. My son ordered Battlefield 3 and release date delivery was only $0.99; he got his on time. Mine on the other hand never shipped (I didn't use release date for me). I cancelled mine this weekend and ordered from Walmart, lol.

It's easier to win here. Brad sometimes gives away 10 shirts in one contest and your odds are better because the amount of entries is smaller . So step up to the table and enter a contest and good luck.

The newest Madden and NBA12K games can probably be had for $29.99 on BF. That's what I paid last year and would expect the same this year.
-
YMMV...I've had them PM sometimes.

The Marine Exchange is having the iTouch 8GB for $179 on BF. Not bad, but as mentioned usually Walmart or someone ads a GC to entice you.
-
Maybe a Travel Mug would be better .

We had one child and it was never a specific amount of gifts. Each year was different and the amount of gifts was based on how much was already spent (no real budget though; he was spoiled, lol). Family members were a different story; usually one per person (except parents) about $30-$50 each.

I got a nice pre-lit 7 1/2 foot tree on after-Chritmas clearance at Sears last year for $35 (reg $350). I get to try it out this year .
-
Paypal is not that bad, especially now that you can use it at a lot of major retailers: Sears, Walmart, Best Buy and more. I like using it on 'smaller' websites too so they don't get my CC info. You know you want that shirt .
-
Gotta get my Gottadeal T-shirt! (Just because I buy one, doesn't mean I won't try to win one ; My wife wants one too)
-
Congrats to all! I enjoyed reading your post! Everyone else...we gotta keep trying, lol. (I'll get me a new black Gottadeal T-shirt yet......muhahahaha)

Every city is different. Some you have to camp sooner at than others. I've gotten in line at BestBuy as late as midnight and I was #10 in line (got my doorbusters (though that was several years ago )). It's good to know your local stores and how early people set up last year. That way you know when to show up and get a good spot. Good luck.

If you are trying to save 2% then forget it. If you have to be home in FL for another reason then ok. Had you said you were trying to beat the Sunday traffic and the 2% savings was a bonus, then that's another story (though you could still shop on BF and make it home before Monday).

PHOTO #1 Hey BigJimSlade! Can I use your port-a-potty for $5? It's an EMERGENCY! PHOTO #2 Hey BigJimSlade! The heat is on in HERE! (gives him the thumbs up) PHOTO #3 If I would have followed the advice on Gottadeal.com, I wouldn't be in this mess and would have gotten that new iPad.

As mentioned, there will be more contest of different sorts; so keep trying . BTW, congrats to the winners.

I'd wait for BF if you can.
