I was just about to post that. This hasn't happened to me in many years but for a few it was year after year until I started calling beforehand. To the person who posted about debit cards as an alternative, beware I have had my debit card placed on hold twice in the last year BOTH times while I was attempting a medication refill at Walgreens which is a popular place w/ my debit card (I usually make small purchases there and use them to complete my 12 req uses of debit card for high yield checking). After the 2nd time I requested a supervisor AND wrote them a nice letter. If I hadn't been carrying my checkbook I would have had to wait for bank to resolve their crap as I don't carry more than $10 at any time. It's one thing to be looking for suspicious behaviour but a complete other to stop me from using my acct which has more than enough to cover a practically recurring monthly purchase.

walmart and target price match. Not sure what the deal with Target would be since Price matching has to be done at the guest/customer service desk.

oh..I went to the store for my snowglobe so made sure to have ad in hand at register and asked for rebate when she didn't have she remembered they were supposed to be adjusting down per management.

Make sure you ask or get everything. Last year I got the pressure cooker and they didn't have rebate so just charged the lower price at register.

Amazon has several different ones at lower prices. I can't bring myself to pay that much for a pillow the kids may or may not like. My bff bought a set for her kids and I've never really seen them play with them PLUS they aren't in the kids beds either so I think she pretty much flushed $40 down the drain. I'd consider one ONLY if it was a child's favorite animal/character. Walgreens has $10 register rewards in their ad when you spend 30+ on pillow pets.

good point. If walmart won't do it, maybe try contacting Walmart.com and see if THEY will since they're separate entities.

They just adjust prices on the site based on competition.

LOL....it's kinda sad/stupid how loss prevention was all over these ppl for wearing the same outfit. Usually ppl who are trying to steal/ do something illegal will not make it a point to stand out by wearing recognizable outfits.
