I didn't see anyone but overheard management at Walmart say there's 8 ppl lined up. THEN they dropped the bomb...store is opening at 6am. WTH?!

that's crazy. I felt bad doing 13 different toothpaste transactions at 2 stores:P I was very thankful that by the time I finally got all my coupons and stuff together and left around noon there was still most everything I wanted. We even scored 10 Scotts roll packages which we had an extra $1 off so got to use up lots of rewards on that.

Amazon hasn't really had anything for me lightning deals wise the last few days....I'm thankful because my wallet could use the respite, last year was ridiculous. Maybe I'll check out cheap blurays tomorrow when I've gotten some rest. p.s. I think my mother will kill me if I am here when she gets back from dinner but I really don't feel like driving to further away Walmart.

Not sure exactly where to post this?.... Has anyone actually been in their Walmart lately? I just got back from ours and they have a huge sign saying opening at 6am. I even asked a rep and she said yes we will close at 10pm as usual and reopen at 6. WTF? Now I have to drive to the madhouse that is the 24 hour one by 8 if stupid sheets don't go online yet. Or I suppose I could hit up JCPenney and Sears for ornaments/globes 1st then had back to the one opening at 6? Why have a massive advertising campaign showing tiers of items and then just do whatever you want? I'm still flabbergasted. I only stopped in since the parking lot was shockingly empty and I was coming out of Walgreens.

I suppose that would work IF the Sku's are identical. Why not just refuse Amazon order?

We got back a bit ago but I'm seriously considering headi8ng back out once they leave for dinner. I can get more stuff with my aunts card and my brothers godfather gave me the one he got in store. Apparently everytime he goes to the store they insist on giving him a new card since he never uses his.

thanks all for clarifying, I was rushing out the door VERY LATE for CVS and Walgreens and brain wasn't up to scratch thanks to BB debacle til 4:30. Still I prefer that to dealing with real people in line outside a store:P

what time did this finally go live? When I checked back about 6:30est what I wanted wasn't up yet. Put me in a scramble for the rest of the day.

there's a whole bracket of movies up against each other, I think it starts with 32. What I do is just quote message or copy/paste movies portion and delete the movies I do not want to win for each bracket. Then post reply

I also remember falling asleep in front of cramped desktop. This year if I fall asleep chances are laptop will take a dive off bed and die a horrible death. At this point it will probably take a good 10minutes after items is available before I realize it is.
