  1. I like how easy online sales are with Target. I dislike the way their website is organized and the filter options though. Couldn't get the daily deal on furniture to come up earlier, link through site worked but then gave EVERYTHING on sale and there was no way to filter by discount and I couldn't find the appropriate type of furniture so I gave up because searching through thousands of items is not worth it.
  2. Looks like the Fire 10 tablet is a little over 50% off now which I think is what the BF deals usually are. Plus looks like holiday returns are in place already through 1/31 so may be worth getting now. Not sure if this is the one you were looking at: https://www.amazon.com/Amazon_Fire_HD_10/dp/B0BL5PYD69/ref=asc_df_B0BL5PYD69/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693441205606&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1472391197511188940&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9011937&hvtargid=pla-2244890107187&psc=1&mcid=2184047fc01f3405a104db1a3d5c5f05
  3. I like the Amazing Giant Sonic Robot, gives me Doctor Who Dalek vibes and I'm missing the old episodes with Matt Smith and David Tennant.
  4. Possibly batteries if nobody else has cheaper. I feel like Home Depot was cheaper last year and I know woot or Amazon had a sale too.
  5. Excited for the snowglobe, wonder what character it is. Would be terrible if it was something we were uninterested in/had zero other items about. Mother is already asking if I'M going.
  6. I'd love to get Mom's iPad out of the way and maybe find some inspiration for godkid's gifts, last year's PS5 really made an impression but as of last conversation the only really want the expensive VR headset which is WAY outside of everyone's budget and seems a waste to throw everything in for 1 gift which at most 2 of them can use at once and will probably get over pretty quickly once the newness wears off. I need a new travel backpack but a) who knows how much I'll use if unemployment carries on much longer and b) not sure what I want. Everything I see seems crazy $$$ for a quarter of the size of what I have now.
  7. I think it's non news at this point since nothing was detailed. Hopefully we'll get more info released as we get closer. That's about ALL that's on my list this year, a new iPad for my mother since she "doesn't know how" to access the same websites via her phone and too much errors out on iPad due to failure to update anymore. The QR code seems to lead to current sale page which has the 9th generations on sale for $90 off and 10th for $20 off. I'm hoping for at least that or MORE plus a gift card incentive of some kind. If I remember correctly, that's Apple's usual scheme for BF- add ons/gift cards vs outright $$$ deals. Nothing I need to get a membership for at this point.
  8. THAT is the worst part I can remember but even prep was ridiculous and we're so far South it wasn't really serious even. So thankful we weren't affected and most friends that were had power restored by midday Sunday. Still have 2 without power and near Tampa so probably having a hell of a time getting gas for generator. There's a gas buddy gas/power tracker for stations if you need it: https://tracker.gasbuddy.com/ Friend locally managed to drive into a sinkhole earlier while trying to avoid flooding, still waiting for county/state to get car out otherwise apparently it's not covered by insurance. Unless it was caused by broken pipe UNDER road no idea how that would've happened here.
  9. Lots of panties, bikinis, loungewear, dresses etc included in sale, my purchases below. Sale ends at 11:59pm PT There's also a stackable discount expiring today $25 off $125 use code 25off125 Ultimate Active Dress Now $12.74 Was $39.95 Pique Tennis Skort Now $7.49 Was $39.95
  10. Kohl's will forever be a rare sale/clearance shop store to me. Their regular prices are sky high and while a lot of places aren't far off these days, they still win highest for me across the board. I like the idea of the Rewards Visa with no annual fee but have enough cards and wouldn't really use the benefits regularly. We're down to 1 store locally so I'm thinking BF will be mostly be online this year as it's mostly out of the way, IF at all. At this point, I'd love some clothes that fits (both leisure and office wear), sneakers and a travel backpack I fall in love with. We don't need much and gifting is all but done with. I did consider picking up some blankets for gifting at the last sale but I'm sure there's still a couple from the last purchase stashed away.
  11. I've been on a health kick since July, missing my usual sweets but looking for new low fat/high protein options. This has become a go to: Crustless Egg White Quiche with Spinach & Feta Prep Time: 10minutes Cook Time: 40minutes Servings: 4 Ingredients 1.5 cups egg whites 1 cup cottage cheese 1 red bell pepper finely chopped 1 cup spinach or kale finely chopped 1 tsp olive oil 3 tbsp green onion sliced thin 1/2 cup monterey jack cheese shredded 1/2 cup feta crumbled 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper Instructions Preheat oven to 350 degrees and prep a round 8" baking dish or pie dish by spraying with cooking spray or oil. In a small sauté pan, heat olive oil on medium heat and sauté bell pepper, spinach and green onion for 3-4 mins. Transfer to a small bowl and allow to cool. In a large bowl, add egg white, cottage cheese, monterey jack cheese, feta cheese, salt, and pepper. (If you're planning to use a tabletop blender, add these ingredients directly to a blender) Using an immersion blender, blend for 30-60 seconds until fully combined and smooth. (If using a tabletop blender, blend on high until smooth) Mix in cooled veggies. Pour egg white quiche mixture into the baking dish and bake in the oven for 35-45 minutes. The quiche will be slightly browned and firm in the middle when finished. 13. Think I'm fully prepped this year
  14. Would ABSOLUTELY love one but...... hurricane season makes totally impractical
  15. I'm not home but my prize arrived today. I'll be in suspense till Sunday. Thanks Brad!
  16. 1: Everyone pretend like we're not already dead inside from all the Christmas music 2: Just keep swimming! 3: Everyone to the girl in the middle: Can we go now? I'm tired. I'm hungry. How much shopping do you need to do right now?!
  17. A friend received the Amazon Kids Gift book yesterday, her message to me was "This is too early, it's going on the trash". We are NOT the same. I would've loved to be looking flipping pages. Her point is valid though, I'm sure kids wants will change a bunch between now and christmas
  18. Woohoo for October! Not me making sure I ACTUALLY replied vs thought I did while thinking to myself, Don't let it be me
  19. This could be promising, I wonder if we'll get a mailer with sale items. Haven't seen anything yet
  20. Hmmmmm....we definitely have an Aldi's nearby. Trader Joe's is further away and probably still not in my plans. LOL At this rate, they may close before I ever make it there.
  21. WHAT?! Is this not a thing anymore? I know I've been pretty MIA the last 2 years but is there no point to walking to the gas station to get ads this year?
  22. Love it! I still miss the Circuit City sales and whatever the other tech place was that eventually got replaced by a Brandsmart locally.
  23. It's been a while but I think I'll be joining again this year.
  24. I'd never thought about shopping Prime sales in another country, this year may be the chance to see what they have with friend's surgery the same day. A fun surprise might help the monotony and pain of recovery.
