As much as I was looking forward to less stressful BF shopping this year before BFF decided we're off to Universal madness instead, I'm thankful for the mini experiences I've had since this weekend at the Universal Garage sale and then Big Lots 90%off Halloween sale. I nearly cried happy tears finding the Oogie Boogie path markers I wanted. We don't have anything really outdoors for Halloween and the last few years stores seem to be ordering less and clearing out quicker w/o discounting

It was a lot but also it felt purposeful to type all that up and work on specs for stuff in tables knowing that others would get to use/ benefit An impossible feat with the number of "sales" and lack of real ads these days

Congratulations all!

Have you checked your local Walmart? Someone in one of my FB groups posted theirs had on clearance for $80.

This is pretty disappointing when compared to years when they had freebies and real steals. And again, the running theme of scroll through loads of unannounced unimpressive semi discounts to maybe find something worthwhile. I think the shirt may be accurate, BF is dead

Interesting. Need to see if ours has a gas station. is this just with membership or with associated credit card? Bjs is kinda convenient gas wise but otherwise prefer Sam's for most products and prices. Same price as cheaper BJs (and further/ more complicated spot) so not really a factor except maybe more options on trip

My mom asked about this earlier since I won't be here to get. Has Lowe's ad come out and missed too or is it still pending? Home Depot has for $4 or 3for $12 depending on rack I was in Home Depot 3 times today. No more

I'm currently debating getting the larger 9th generation at target now with red card and birthday discount and/or getting a Costco membership and hoping their apple event staying 28 or 29th beats the price. Just ordered a 9th gen case from Amazon

I had literally just read this and was about to go check it out thank you!

Curious about the ipad offers but not sure it's worth getting a membership in advance to peruse. Any chance we'll get info before then? Hmmm.....looks like the 9th gen may be cheaper than Target on/after 28th. Shipping is additional but could still be worth it, need to look into membership cost

Oooh! The 5 and 9am giveaways could be good. If it was a Disney snowglobe I'd definitely be up early and Uber over for it. Free mixer would be great but we already one and that should be about the time everyone's getting up for the drive back. I know BFF won't be up for shopping but can maybe check if there's any nearby and plan for that IF they're not leaving til later which I expect. Iconic massage gun or homedics for 19.99 could be a good gift, although I think BFF's massager is still going from a few years ago.

Unimpressed aside from Disney giftcards.

You can select them as retailer and it lessens it a bit but I feel like it also loses the BF section or maybe everyone thinks a minor discount is BF worthy these days. Truly unimpressed. About to get on laptop and look at sales again, may bite the bullet on ipad at target after painfully confirming holiday return info earlier

Been eyeing that Best Buy sale but feel like I saw the 10th gen for the same price somewhere.

So, in my mind there was never a question of going with the 64GB since nothing is upgradable. However I recently looked at what we have and it IS a 64GB and we've never had issues. Should I be aiming for the larger considering apps etc have probably gotten bigger etc? Also, just because the replacement reason is lack of updating due to age of last one, I was thinking of going to 10th gen. Should I consider 9th generation too? Yes, money is tight but also I'm not trying to skimp on something which will hopefully last another 10 years or whatever this one has. Update: while looking up possible trade in values I discovered that what we have is a 1st generation iPad air which isn't eligible for any trade in. kinda proud that this 1st generation service is in pretty pristine condition over 10 years later. Does that affect what we need? Looks like the Air is thinner but also more expensive.

I picked up some jeans for $10, slip resistant shoes and leggings. I think this year's theme is scrolling through so much

Black Friday is a no go this year for me unless I uber heading to Universal with the godkids
-
So much scrolling this year and mostly through mediocre deals on stuff I'm not interested in. Phone is listed in announcement but definitely doesn't come up when scrolling

Wouldn't mind a set of adjustable dumbells if the price is right, put a set in my Target cart yesterday but not 100% sold on them yet
-
Well that's disappointing Zero care for that movie but may still have to go for the nostalgia.
