OK folks looking over this thread has made we want to do Christmas breakfast but I've never had french toast. Would it be ok to make french toast casserole and the sausage casserole? Or would the flavors not go well together or it be way too much? Looking at the ingredients maybe just the HOLIDAY BRUNCH CASSEROLE will do. Just need to buy the sausage and another dozen eggs then.

my last minute gift: Apples to Apples for $10 at Kmart. Should have been 14.99-5 mail in rebate buy they couldn't find it and it didn't print. The chimney buster page shows the items "on sale" too just not as great a discount as the chimney buster so I guess it's not necessarily that they over did codes just more than enough people bit at discounted price and I didn't use code in time. They're CS wasn't the best but I think the code would have worked if I'd used it a lot closer to when it was issued.

My mom went out Friday afternoon and wasn't able to get any. Not sure if stores sold out or holding them back for price adjusters. I parked about a block away from mall in another smaller mall on Saturday and offered to stop by ON and she said not to bother they wouldn't have any. I was too lazy and annoyed my mall traffic to walk the block in the cold drizzle after she told me there wouldn't be any. At least she was able to pick up some gloves for herself. We've had the coldest winter in 5 years or so they were saying on the radio and she now has to get up with me around 5:30 from grandson duty.

beccasbank passed along the code for the vivicam but when I went to check out after entering last 3 of CC it returned advising out of stock for shipping and none of my local stores showed in stock either. I called up and spoke to various ppl on 3 different numbers and they all had different stories after about an hour I gave up. It seemed it was in stock for a few reps who couldn't apply discount code and not in stock for others actually trying to help and after some further hold time a manager came back and said "nope not in stock I checked both warehouses". I'm not sure if the reps were incompetent or manager didn't feel like give me the deal but I was pretty unamused at that point and decided against going any further and just irritating myself. It probably didn't help that this was some 6 hours or more after the coupons were given but a simple "out of stock, can't assist you sorry" would have been nice instead of transferring me around giving me hope time and time again then dashing it. One of the reps even wanted to argue about which item should be on sale and for what price when it was still showing on website?!

We usually have turkey on Thanksgiving with either Ham or a whole pig on Christmas. Family tradition was cooking the pig all day Christmas Eve in a homemade pit outside for Christmas eve dinner (and then leftovers for Christmas lunch) but as my brother has married and now has in laws to worry about we usually do Christmas Eve there (they roast a pig) and then either ham, stuffed turkey breast or a fried turkey on Christmas with my extended family (brother & family drop by) here. It usually depends on what is cheaper or the other ingredients at hand. The peanut oil was impossible to find one year.

I should be done but am considering going out tomorrow morning to try and find godson and his DS nice thick coats for next to nothing since they'll be travelling to hopefully Snowy NC in January and have nothing remotely close to winter clothes. (My bff will kill me for going overboard but they're such good kids.) Most everything was wrapped last night with the wine bottles and a few others to do today then back to work Wednesday and Thursday. I'm still waiting on some blurays from Target (ordered Thanksgiving Day!!!!) set to be delivered for 23 or 24th but will probably just wrap others and leave those for bday's or 3 kings gift.

no credits on my account, last email was about a week ago advising it was mailed. I had kind of overlooked it with all my Amazon orders but expect a little better from a national store. Spoke to my brother a little bit ago and he says he got his order but they duplicated some blurays and didn't send others.

none for me either but I always forget to add receipts to reward zone and never use card. rarely shop at BB

I called about my as of yet untrackable bluray order today and the guy says it got lost in shipping then paused for a response from me followed by "HELLO....." so I advised I heard what he said but was waiting to see how he would resolve the situation and his solution was to refund me......or he could try and reorder but would probably have to refund. I said he should try the reorder option and if not available should get me a manager. I'm waiting on my supposed new order confirmation which he advised should be here before christmas but no confirmation. WTH?!!!! I hate target.com none of these were as cheap anywhere else and are all gifts.

The BF bluray fiasco comes to mind. I got my test message yesterday so went in and they had second order in at $5, if I don't pick up other order does it automatically credit my card? It's odd that they're not in order.

I agree calling in MAY result in better service but then again having chatted online with another rep may have helped too. Sorry you're having a hard time with this. It's must be especially difficult with the holidays coming up. I would definitely call back and request a manager, it just seems wishy washy. 1st she knows nothing and then magically it's being/has been mailed for delievery 12/24. It's such a perfect date because if you don't call by then they won't have to listen to you and after then it's kinda pointless to call and be upset because it's already ruined your holiday plans for gift.

I may have to try that later. So far two identical sale e-mails from BB.

I lied earlier but I haven't gotten any error messages. I have some issue where I need to close all web browsers and then reopen to get either the "add to cart" button or the search option on walmart.com to come up. I think this only happens at work so have put it down to something being blocked by all the security in place and since it eventually works had put it out of mind.

Does anyone who receives the mobile coupons know if the Taylor Swift one is still valid? I think it was received on or just before BF but I don't pay for data plan and didn't want to waste money having a look.I just received my DEAR cousin's Xmas list and let's just say all of this stuff was on sale over the last few weeks but she only made her list this morning ....GRRRRR....It annoys me to pay anything close to full price ESPECIALLY when I could have so easily paid half or less in some cases:(

That is kinda lousy I mean if you don't like it regift it :) (especially if you may be complaining to someone who bought it for you with kindness). When my brother worked at the bank they did something similar but they selected some order and as each person picked they could keep what they got or swap with someone else's gift. Not sure if this was prior to unwrapping or not but I always thought that was a cool way of doing it.

While it isn't pleasant I don't know of any store that matches their own or other websites. I too need to have the FULL ad in order for any store to price match and have had to go back to my car to get missing pages that have nothing to do with item being price matched or the front/back of ad that shows dates because they slipped out of bundle. I look at it as a small price for the convenience of price matching or getting a better deal.

The gift card thing seems to bypass the whole spirit and is basically giving someone $x amount of money just to get it back so as a department we decided against it. Supervisor actually mentioned it earlier but other person didn't respond and I didn't want to pressure her since we'll be jobless come April there's only the 3 of us left. (I'll probably get them each a little something since they've really been very good to me.) On the other end of the spectrum the Supervisor is in on one with management and she commented how stupid it was to even have a wish list as ppl should just pick stuff they think you'd like :)

I never seem to have anything but trouble with BestBuy. I always swear it's my last purchase with them and then cave when I see something cheaper. This time it appears they shipped same BF bluray order twice. They probably charged me twice in the process, they did this to my brother last year with a PS3 and HE had to dispute the charges on his BestBuy card.

We stopped doing Secret Santa at work because people just put down gift cards on want list. Might as well have been exchanging $20 notes.
