  1. lotions and pens are great ideas. all nurses like these. but you could also find one of those ornament places that has nurse's ornaments that are inexpensive and have the place date it and maybe put each of their names on them. around the holidays, you can find ornaments for just as cheap as lotion. i am sure that the nurse's would cherish the ornament for years to come! (and it would be a sweet reminder of your GD)

this store is located near gatlinburg, tn, but i am sure that you can find a place near you. the ornaments are priced reasonable, but the shipping is a little pricey.

  2. just to add here, at most jcpenney's they have alot of slim pants on the clearance racks when they go to 70% off. i have traveled between ga,tn, ky, oh, mi and all of them seem to have lots when the clearance is between 50-70% off. i have one plus size child and one slim size, so i am always looking for clothes for the next year.
  3. my kids always drink water when we go out to eat. when they were little it was kind of difficult (at mcdonald's they were used to getting a drink with the happy meal), but after a few times at other restaurants, they ordered water with no complaints.:)
