xbox 360 250gb..$199 today only?
gingersunshine replied to gingersunshine's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
do you think that they will be somewhere @ $250 again? -
thanks for any and all advice from the xbox 360 enthusiasts. yesterday before i left for shopping i put a bid on a USED xbox 360 250gb console with 1 controller, some banjo game, the av cable, and headset. well, the winner backed out so now i have a chance to get it for $212. (it is the slim design if that makes any difference). and last night while i was out i purchased the NEW walmart xbox 360 4gb system with the kinect that was on sale. i then happened upon the kinect bundle @ target so i picked that up in case i wanted the original deal. i have until 6pm tonight to make up my mind. what should i do? (and oh, according to my husband, the bidder was "shielding bids" or something along that line so it would go for more, i think). but none the less i need help, asap.....please. i am just worried that if the used system doesn't work, then i am out that money.

thanks! the expensive ones say on the box about speeds, so that was one question, but are there advantages to getting the more expensive ones?

i hope this is the right place to post. i think that i am the only one left in the universe that doesn't have some type of wifi thing in the house and i am clueless as to what to buy. i am thinking about purchasing a laptop or an ipod touch for xmas but i have no clue as to what type of router to buy. i want to get a good deal, of course, but i also want to get one that i won't have to replace in a few months. any suggestions? we have a wii and a dvd player so i don't know if that makes any difference. thanks in advance!

Wii accesories...worth it/useless/sturdy?
gingersunshine replied to allshoppedout's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
i have most of them for the kids. they use the wheel frequently--we have 2. and as for the other accesssories, they kids use them 75% of the time, they just have fun with them. i have some of the knock offs and some of the name brand ones...not really much difference. but some stores will run specials buy x and get y free, that's how i got the name brand ones even cheaper than generic. -
i get my girls' glasses at dr. bizers (sp?) and i always purchase the extended warranty. it only replaces the glasses once, and all you have to do is bring in one piece of the glasses. the frames there are reasonable, too.

we bought a bunch of rubbermaid tubs (i think the 55 or 60 gallon) about $18 or $20 a piece at w-mart or home depot. they are sturdy and when the kids grow out of the toys, we can use them for other things...like xmas storage and such! i only use rubbermaid as they will stand up to frequent usage, not like the sterlite (sp?) and other cheap ones.

Does anyone have any Build-a-Bear coupons?
gingersunshine replied to JackJack's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
usually right around BF you can buy gift cards for $25 or $50 and get extra gift cards for free, my girls have gotten $10 extra when they bought the $50 one. and don't forget the calendar...the last 2 yrs have had a certificate for $8 in it! you had to purchase something in the store, but hey, a free $8 is a free $8! -
