  1. Yeah, Dan, it depends on your needs. The drive you mention is slower in terms of data transfer. It also only comes with a 10 year warranty vs. lifetime. What color did you go for? Do you have any problems reading the keyboard's keys? That was a complaint on another forum. Are you using it for internet or texting? I'm thinking of getting that phone and going with MediaNet/e-mail (no texting).
  3. Turn an internal drive into an external: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182156 http://c1.neweggimages.com/NeweggImage/productimage/17-182-156-06.jpg Any 3.5" SATA external enclosure would work though...

  8. Amazon has it for $8.99 and ships free if you order $25.00 worth of items: http://www.amazon.com/Quillan-Games-Pendragon-D-MacHale/dp/0689869134 You could also check www.half.com -- it's mostly used, but there are some brand-new editions on Half. (half.com is completely owned by eBay).
  9. Here's a Class 6 (faster) SDHC card for $13.29 shipped: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=126760
  10. It also depends on the compression ratio you use for the MP3 (96kbps, 128kbps, etc.) At 128kbps, a decent approximation is 1GB for 500 songs, 2GB for 1,000 songs (so the standard 512mb on this player would about hold 250 songs, essentially 20 full length CDs). Now, if kid's songs are shorter than the standard 3.5 minutes-5 minutes each, then you could fit more songs in the same amount of space.
  11. Wyomissing, PA! http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Weather/28_3_3.gif
  12. Don't hold your breath... There might be a few "unannounced sale items", but the chances of it being the one item you are after are slim...
  13. Yep! It's also unique in that it has two headphone jacks and a built-in speaker. Comes in Pink or Blue. Video review: http://reviews.cnet.com/mp3-players/sandisk-sansa-shaker-512mb/4505-6490_7-32417472.html The player has an SD card slot so you can easily expand the capacity to 2GB (I don't think that it is compatible with the SDHC cards, essentially 4GB or higher).
  14. Now this is an MP3 player specifically designed for children. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Innocent/gardenplay.gif
  15. Don't worry about whether or not Anti-virus is included. Free anti-virus software is readily available: http://free.avg.com/download-avg-anti-virus-free-edition Review: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2291397,00.asp
  16. Lingerie. It's a gift for both of you. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Naughty/shehumper.gif
  17. You didn't have any luck with the built-in search function on the Black Friday section? http://i35.tinypic.com/29fuwr6.jpg I am assuming that you know that you need only to put what you are searching for into the search box and it will show you all of the items -- across all stores -- that fit your search. For instance: http://i34.tinypic.com/ndsrpx.jpg And if you use that "Sort Items" drop down, you can even sort them by price. If you didn't know about that search box, well, there you go... (Note: OD is not included in that search, nor is their ad displayed... because their lawyers are not a fun-loving bunch).
  18. 4GB Zune for $86 shipped! http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=126691
  19. http://i37.tinypic.com/2exbwg0.jpg Do yourself a favor and sign up for their e-mail newsletter. They send out e-mail newsletters about 2-3 times a week, the deals are good for 7 days each. Be sure to click through the link in the newsletter -- there's always "more deals" (when you get your first newsletter, you'll know what I mean). As for brands, they also have brands you'll be familiar with. They're so big, they have their own in-house brand for electronics "Rosewill" (but quality on that brand is spotty -- I've never bought a Rosewill-branded item).
  20. Oh, now that's funny.... Seriously, I had no idea. And I was thinking you were going to tell me that your daughter was in her 20's and on her own... http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Mil-Computer/whitepages.gif
  21. Glad you like it! All four of us have a different one... It does suck that they don't price match at all after an order is placed and that they have a 15% restocking fee, but they are always my first choice for gear... always. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Mil-Computer/geek1.gif
  22. Why? How old is your daughter? You wouldn't want to accidentally send her MP3 player through the laundry do you?
  23. I'm up to 37 orders since 10/28/02 ($4,862.38). I just ordered from them today as a matter of fact.
  24. There is still hope: http://c1.neweggimages.com/WebResource/Themes/2005/Nest/logo.gif
  25. Just make sure you check her pockets when you do laundry... http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Tasks/the044b05c.gif
