1. Did you think the store seemed kinda busy?? I wonder if there is some kind of special sale going on today?? 2. "Just gonna go to one store my hiney!" and I fall for this every year....... 3. I hope hubby doesn't see me on tv! I told him I was just running out to get coffee!

Try checking local craft shows. My MIL makes clothes for 18 inch dolls and sells them at craft shows in our area. And there are usually other crafters there selling them too.

I did find an app called Santa's Little Helper. You can enter what you got each person and how much it cost. It will keep track of total spent on each person and grand total. You can also put a password on it to keep out snooping eyes

The last couple of years Kohls had them on special on BF. I got a king size for $49 then. If you don't find anything I believe you will have luck on BF!

Last year we bought a blow up bed that has a raised frame for the mattress. The frame is metal and collapses down so it all fits in a dufflebag type holder that came with it. It is actually really comfortable. We have slept on an Aerobed brand bed and this one and I don't really see any difference. We got our at Kmart.

I have been shopping BF with a friend for a few years now and last year was the first year we took my DD along with us. As we were waiting towards the front of of the line at Walmart and my friend starts explaining to my DD "when the doors open, people will shove and push. Just follow the crowd in and head to your designated area. We'll meet up when we each get what we are supposed to. Just don't be afraid when people start pushing!" There was a young couple right next to us and the guy looked at my friend and said incredulously "What? People shove and push? When do they do that?" That was the exact moment the doors opened and my friend just yelled over the din "NOW!!!!" as we were swept up in the sea of people. The look on my daughters face was priceless!!!

I have the LG Steamwasher and the dryer that is just like the steamdryer but does not do the steam. I LOVE them!!!!

Well of course I do! I can't bring myself to go anywhere for the holiday because shopping here is so great. Everything is so close together. I have been on here for the past couple of years and have not seen anyone on the boards from this area....

I would definitely try the outlet mall route. The outlet mall itself may have a website, if so sign up for their mailing list (the one nearest me calls it their "VIP Club"). I have been able to get purses 3 times now when they were having 50% off of the clearance price and it seems as if these sales coincided with a special sale/weekend the outlet was having (mothers day, sidewalk sale weekend, etc.). Hope this helps!

Besides offering great deals, what else can a store do to get you to shop there on BF? Target had the best sales ad. They had great prices and thanks to GD I was able to go in a couple of days and the night before to purchase BF deals and then I went in later BF morning and pricematched! Comfy shoes and a big car! Organize, Organize, Organize. Have people walking isles/at front of store to help guide people to where particular items are. Offer BF sales online at midnight!!!!!

I scored yesterday in picnic stuff! Got some of the margarita/mojito mixes & a rimming sugar, one of those tubs that you can put ice & drinks in, and what I think was the best deal-- beach towels for $2.50 each. They are 7ft long! All of this was 75% off The tub, mojito & margarita mixes and sugar, 2 towels, and 2 each- plastic margarita glasses and highball glasses (not on clearance) are going to be a housewarming gift for a friend. All for under $20!

We got one of these for Christmas and DH LOVES it!!! I do too cuz if I don't feel like cooking we can have a fend for yourself night and he just makes a quesadilla.

Are those few items listed going to be the ONLY things on sale? Never been to one of the stores before, so I don't know how they usually work it...
