Yes, that coupon is still valid, but it is only good on these models. The new coupons can be used on pretty much any configuration. -
New Dell Home Inspiron & Dimension Coupons for Thursday
Brad replied to Brad's topic in Online Hot Deals
These current coupons aren't that bad. It's basically a $150 difference between the $600 off $1499 and the "holy grail" $750 off $1499. Another factor to consider is any free upgrades and/or rebates that are offered. They could offer enough free upgrades with the $600 coupon to make it just as good of a deal as the $750. You just have to keep watching and configuring systems for each new round of coupons. When I got my 700m, it was just before the $750 off $1499 coupon came out last October. I "only" used a $500 off $1499, but there was a $200 mail-in rebate and free HD and WiFi upgrades that made it a virtually identical deal. In fact when the $750 coupon came out, I checked and the difference between my deal and the new one was under $20. -
Maxent 42" Enhanced Definition Plasma TV - $1,389.99 Shipped - Best Buy
Brad replied to GottaDEAL's topic in Online Hot Deals
That depends how your cable company (and the TV) works. Most newer HDTVs come with the CableCARD slots which allow you to just insert a card you get from your cable company (assuming they support it), along with the cable carrying the signal, so you don't need the HD box from the cable company. I really think the best value these days are in the LCD TVs in the 30" - 37" range. When the holidays come around, those should drop in price even more. If you really want a nice one, wait for the new LCDs with true 1080p resolution (1920x1080). There is one from BenQ coming out in a 37" size with a MSRP of $1999. Prices will drop on the older models as these come out as well. -

I'm fairly sure you'll see at least one non-HD plasma for $999 or less by the time Black Friday rolls around. Of course by then you'll be able to get 32-37" HD-Ready LCD models for the same price or less, so... -

The free home theater system has a "value" of $179.99 so I'd definitely pick that up even though you'll have to pay $20+ for shipping. -

Is there an option I am missing that is like Fusetalk's "My Forums"??

I don't think there is a built-in function for that in vBulletin. I'll look and see if I can find a similar add-on hack that we can throw on here. -

we'll leave this open for another day or two, so if you want a chance, post now.

You probably wouldn't have been able to combine it with the $50 discount anyway as it is online-only and this one is in-store-only.
