Aside from last year's unique situation, on this date in 2019, 2018 and 2017 we really only had Harbor Freight and True Value. And comparing to last year we're missing Dell (they decided not to leak it early - their sale starts Monday), Macy's (announced their weekly BF sales so their ad should be out when the first of those sales starts next Wednesday) and Home Depot (who started their sale very early last year and likely won't start it so early this year thus the ad is delayed).

Also don't know why JCPenney stopped doing the snow globes. They were always a favorite among most on here and a cheap way to get people into their stores to spend $. But that's just one of many bad decisions JCP has made over the years...

I miss when Best Buy had competition from Circuit City, CompUSA, etc.

Target had B2G1F on movies and music a couple weeks ago and last year they also didn't include video games in their B2G1F sale - it was movies, music and books. Amazon has had B2G1F video game sales in June and March. Last year they had one the week before BF so keep waiting. Even if there aren't B2G1F deals, there will be plenty of discounted Switch games as there was last year.

If you have any Amex credit cards, check the Amex Offers section on the site/app and you might have an offer for a free month of Walmart+. My offer was 1,500 reward points when you spend $12.95 on Walmart+. Others have a $12.95 credit when you spend that amount. Also if you have an Amex Platinum (consumer version) you get Walmart+ for free.

Free trial members don't get access - only paying members. So you'd have to fork over the $13 for a month.

It's becoming a common thing. Amazon gives Prime members early access to some Lightning Deals, Target has done it for REDcard holders for BF and other deals. GameStop requires a Pro Rewards membership for some PS5/Xbox Series S/X console releases, etc. Anything they can do to get more people to sign up for their membership programs they'll try. I'm guessing they won't let Walmart+ members buy up all the stock - they'll probably just put a smaller percentage available and then save the rest for the main on-sale. Walmart+ members get 3 hours, then there is an hour break before everyone gets a shot - that could be when they re-stock.

It looks like all the items in both ads should be available online (starting on Wednesday) and in stores (starting on Friday). There doesn't appear to be any online-only or in store-only deals like in past years, at least not for the first 2 ads.

You can look at past year's WM ads and have a pretty good idea of 90% of what will be in this year's ad(s). They have stuck to the same format for pretty much as long as I can remember. It will be interesting (assuming there are 3 sales) if they stick to the same categories as last year. For example if movies be in week 2 again this year.
