It depends how many volunteers we have. Besides you all, we'll have several of us who will be roaming between all the stores to help out.

Just wanted to clear up some things as far as time committments: Until Wednesday night, there probably won't be many changes, so you could get away with going through your store(s) once or twice per day. Starting around midnight ET on Wednesday night, stores will start putting their ad items online, so from Wednesday night to Friday morning, I'd really like volunteers who can check your store(s) a few times per day. Depending on what store(s) you are assigned, it may only take you 10-15 minutes to go through it all, so it's not a huge time committment - just that we'd prefer it be done multiple times per day later in the week so we can get all the updates.

You'll see a web page with a list of items from a store and a checkbox next to each one. If an item is in stock online at the Black Friday price, you check the box (or leave it checked if it already is). If it's not in stock or not at the sale price, you uncheck the box or leave it unchecked if it already is.

As those of you who've been around for other Black Fridays know, we have a listing of all the Black Friday ad items that can be ordered online at the Black Friday ad prices at any given point in time. Of course those listings don't update themselves, so we always use a small army of volunteers who will have time during the week to update these items and help everyone out. So this is a call for those volunteers. If you are selected to help, you'll be assigned one or more stores that we have a Black Friday ad for and it will be your responsibility to check each item we have linked on the site and check a box if that item is in stock and available online at the sale price (or less). Not much experience needed - you need to know how to click a link to a product, verify the price and availability, and check or uncheck a box for that item, and then repeat for the entire ad for whatever store(s) you have. You should be available to help throughout the week next week. If you can only help early in the week, we appreciate your offer, but we really need people that can at least check these a few times on Thursday and Friday when the most "action" happens with prices. These are volunteer spots, but anyone who helps out will get something for their help (haven't decided what that will be just yet). You'll also be helping out thousands (maybe millions) of shoppers who will visit the site next week. So if you are interested, please send me a PM and I'll let you know if you've been chosen to help out.
