That was their plan before last year. It wasn't leaked anywhere last year before the 9th when they released it.

http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/Dates Ads are pretty much on schedule compared to past years. Stop whining... Closing thread.

Last year they released it the night of 11/9 (Tuesday). With BF being 2 days earlier this year, could they release it the night of the 7th which is this Tuesday night? Any predictions/rumors?

Black Friday T-shirts - Status Update & Discussion Thread
Brad replied to ehstrojette's topic in 2012
I now have the shirts in my possession They'll be packaged up this week. I'll post when I have a pickup date from USPS and then you can begin expecting them. For those who purchased shirts, in addition to the bonus GD merch in every box, I also added a few Amazon gift cards to some of the boxes Those who have won shirts (or will win them in the next week or two), you will get a few bonus GD items as well in your package. Your shirts may ship a little later than those who purchased them (I'll probably ship all the prize shirts at once), but don't worry as you'll get them in time for Black Friday. -

Just because they don't hand it out doesn't mean you can't take one home...
-
I doubt you'll see any on sale, aside from possible discounts on the old 8GB Nexus 7 model.
-
If so, create the thread and I'll sticky it at the top. Just be sure you'll be able to keep it updated

Black Friday T-shirts - Status Update & Discussion Thread

Shirts will be here tomorrow afternoon. -
Updated the scans with a better quality version.

Nah, we want to make people come to the forum to get the scans Otherwise they can browse the ads page-by-page on the BF site and maybe they'll click on some of the banner ads while they are there

I had one of the older Samsung Chromebooks. For what I needed it for, it wasn't the right choice - a little too restricting. But if she only does basic stuff, it might be a decent low-cost choice.

I just made a new sub-forum titled "Black Friday Posted Ads". This forum will be solely for the posting of new threads when we post ads on the site. Rather than having to go through all the store-specific sub-forums to find when new ads have been posted, you can see all the announcement threads grouped together and see at a glance if anything new has been posted since your last visit. This should make it easy for you to get ad scans and discuss the actual ads. You can still discuss specific things about the ads by creating threads in the store-specific boards as always. To keep things organized, only myself and the mods will be able to post new threads in that forum as, again, it's only for when we post new ads. You can also subscribe to this new forum which will then allow you to get e-mails about new posts. Go here to subscribe to the new forum. This new forum is for Black Friday only - toy catalogs and other sales will still be posted in the store-specific sub-forums.

CONTEST IS NOW OVER! UPDATE: Get 300 replies by the time the contest ends tonight and I'll double the number of t-shirts to 20! UPDATE #2: you did it! 20 shirts it is! It's t-shirt time! This one will be the easiest one yet. Simply reply to this thread with your favorite thing about about Black Friday. For you forum lurkers, this is a great chance to make your first post. Register for a free account if you don't have one and post away (registering will also get rid of those annoying ads). Note that your first post(s) may not show up right away - no need to post again if you don't see it. The contest will run until 9pm ET on Sunday night. At that point I'll randomly choose 10 winners who will receive Black Friday t-shirts. As always, if you've already won a shirt this year, you are not eligible to win another, but feel free to post in the thread if you'd like. Good luck http://i.gottadeal.com/main/images/merch/ideas/bfshirt2012.gif

This Saturday would be the first one most likely. Keep an eye on the Walmart corporate web site for a press release.

Don't know about T-Mobile stores exactly, but I expect Amazon to offer the GS3 for the same $49 price or even possibly free with a 2-year contract/renewal with any of the major carriers. Best Buy already did the $99 deal with any carrier, and Amazon tends to do better than the B&M stores.
