Hey everyone, Thought I'd post this so we don't get as many questions about these things. First, PDFs: we're still going to post PDFs for pretty much all the ads as we always have done. However on those crazy days where the ads are getting leaked one after another, it may take a few hours or even a day to catch up with creating and posting all the PDFs. We'll eventually get them posted, but our first priority is posting the ads on the BF site. We also may begin making the PDFs available only to registered forum members, so if you're lurking, you'd better register for a forum account now if you're interested in downloading the PDFs. Next, ad item listings: as we've done in the last, we'll type up the item listings for most of the ads. There will be some smaller and regional stores where we just don't have the time to type them up when the ad leaks (especially for very large ads). If we're able to, we'll add them later on when things calm down but no guarantees. Also, when I post the thread for a new ad, there may be a link to the item listing that has not been added yet or is in progress. Rest assured, if I include a link to the listing, we plan on having that ad typed up at some point soon.

Most interesting part to me was this: "The retailer promises more Rollbacks that last at least 90 days on everything from electronics to baking essentials, and fewer “this weekend only” holiday offers." So less of those weekend one or two-day sales that everyone always went crazy for. Without those limited time sales, the urgency to go to Walmart goes away. Deals that you plan on having for 3 months+ usually aren't very good deals to begin with.

That is strange as I haven't had that issue at all. I've gotten emails for all new and reply PMs and the icon has shown up as well. I haven't seen it reported either.

We've never posted a Black Friday ad from them, so it was never a big day for them. So this seems like more of a PR stunt than any meaningful gesture on their part.

Yeah if you want to change your avatar, you'll have to do so with the "Import from URL" option. So just upload the image to Photobucket or imgur.com and then use the URL to get it to show up. The direct upload option has been disabled for security reasons.

Some updates on the BF shirts: 1. For the t-shirts, we're placing the order with the printer this week, so now that we have final numbers, we are limiting the number of each size that are available to order. So when you go to the ordering page, if a certain size is sold out, it will let you know during checkout. So if you are thinking of ordering, do it now before your sizes run out. Right now we have at least a couple of every size available with more for the more common sizes. 2. We're still saving shirts for giveaways so those will continue over the next 2-3 weeks but those will only be for sizes S-XL, so if you need larger sizes, order now! 3. The Teespring campaign for hoodies and long-sleeve t-shirts ends this Wednesday, so get your order in for those ASAP as well.
