You might be better off getting a "dumb" TV and then getting something like a Roku/Fire TV type device for it to make it smart. Fire TV stick on Amazon is just $25.

Nope, not really any ads. For Cyber Monday, most sites do one of two things - either they have hundreds of random items on sale - Walmart, Best Buy, etc... do this. Other stores just have some kind of sitewide %-off discount and/or free shipping offer. We'll be posting the sales as they go live on the main site - http://www.gottadeal.com and there will be others posted in the Online Hot Deals board here on the forum. There is a decently sized batch starting tonight after midnight and a bigger group starting tomorrow night. If there is any site anyone is interested in, post here and I'll see what I can find for details about their sale. I've got hundreds of emails from the stores full of info and I've been sifting through them all now that BF is over.

Yeah if you're trying to post a pic follow these instructions. Your initial post said link or pic so I assumed you were having problems with both.

Nothing has changed with this in years, so I don't know where the problem is for you. When you click the link button, you should just be able to type in the address. You don't need to mess with that drop-down menu. Type www.whatever.com and hit OK. The OK button works for me and it's obviously working for others as people are posting links all over the forum. if you are just posting a link you can also just paste the URL in your post and it'll automatically link it when you post.

Black Friday falls on November 25th next year, exactly one month before Christmas. Is it just me, or will the ads suck next year?

* I just moved the threads from the "Online Black Friday Shopping" and "Posted Black Friday Ads" subforums to the appropriate individual store sub-forums for further discussion. * The remaining Black Friday forums (this main BF forum & the store-specific boards) along with the Holiday Discussion board will remain open until the end of the year at which point they'll all be combined into one forum and archived with the other years. We'll again keep one Black Friday forum open all year for any discussion that pops up. * As for Cyber Monday, because Cyber Monday has become "Cyber Week" with sales already starting today, and because we don't receive much information ahead of time as far as exactly what items will be for sale, we don't have a dedicated Cyber Monday forum. * Instead, we'll be posting Cyber Week sales information in the main year-round Online Hot Deals forum, and we invite you to please share whatever Cyber Week deals you find there as well. This way there will be only one forum to check for online deals instead of two. Of course you can also check the home page for the latest deals too.
