In the beginning of Dec my very best friend said she would help me out by ordering my Daughters Santa present a Ballet Bar, I sent her the money and she was going to use her credit card. Now This friend has never and I mean mever let me down and has done so much that I would never doubt her so thats not the isssue. BUT Christmas is 5 day's away and the Bar isnt here, she said that she had it sent to her house by mistake and not to worry she would just order another one and send it here. ( By the way Money is not a problem for her) But I am worried or at least concerned, I dont want to be a nag with her but it is my daughters big present from Santa and I am worried Santa may not make it. If you have any ins with the big guy please say a few words so that it happens to arrive and I can quit fretting. ****** Update***** ***** It just got here, It's here it's here Yeah did I tell you it's here

I freak out until all of my gifts arrive too! Last yr it was an electric scooter from Dicks. It got here like 2 days before Christmas, lol. Do you have a tracking # that you can check? Checking it every hour usually keeps me calmer, lmao. I hope it works out for you!! Let us know when it arrives!

Does she not have a tracking number or some way of finding out where the item is? Before ordering another one, I'd be on the phone with SOMEONE demanding to know where it is!

I'd be asking her to ship the one from her house or something..... I still have 3 packages in route to me one I paid for express shipping they sent it Priority mail yesterday when I called they said you will have it in 5 days (hello doesn't sound express to me).... I have two items on another order with express shipping but found out they will not ship till the 21st. (ordered them Friday of last week) Then I have another items on Ups that is to be here on the 22nd.

Did either of the bars get shipped yet? I'd get ahold of the tracking numbers if they're available.. And if they havent, I'd call the company to find out where they are. Friday is the last day to get regular shipments, so I'd be on the phone with someone. Good luck, I hope it all turns out well.

I am praying for ya .... heck my son if 14 and although he knows how much things cost and of course has long stopped believing in santa, I still fret about making his Christmas be just right. I remember one year being in a similar situation as yours and his big gift did not arrive in Christmas Eve day, I was soooo worried. I would check into the tracking number of that item and maybe have your friend go ahead and express ship the one from her house to yours just in case. I think your peace of mind would be worth the expense.....

Praying to the shipping gods that it arrives for you. Personally, I'd have her express the bar she has at her house. Good luck though. I hope it does arrive

Any word yet? I'm starting to get worried about an amazon order I purchased 12-15. It still has not even shipped!! I emailed them and got this:

Thank you for writing to us at Amazon.com.

I've checked your order and can confirm that we are currently
preparing it for shipment.

We still expect to ship it in time for delivery by the date listed
in Your Account:December 22, 2006

We will send you an e-mail at the time of shipment. Please contact
us again by visiting http://www.amazon.com/contact-us if you do not
receive a shipment confirmation by December 22, 2006.

Please know that we're working very hard to ensure that every order
that can possibly arrive by December 22 will do so.

However, if these are the most important gifts on your holiday
list, you may want to make alternative arrangements in order to err
on the side of caution.

I don't think there is anyway I'm getting mine!! Thank goodness these aren't their big gifts! Hope you end up having better luck than me!!

I know having the present in hand would be best, but just in case it doesnt show make a note from Santa telling her that it wouldn't fit in the sled and he had to get it shipped from the north pole to her and it will arrive anyday now and put a picture of it with the note.

I can honestly empathize with you!!! I have been in a panic for 2 weeks looking for our Santa gift. It has been sitting all alone on a loading dock, because TRU had our address wrong and wouldn't release our phone #. If I hadn't taken the initiative, and the tremendous long distance phone bill to call every place in the country, I wouldn't have found it. I would definitely look for a tracking #, and if your friend has never let you down, something is odd. If she has plenty of money, you would think she would feel bad enough to overnight ship it to you. Is it a free standing bar? Ours was mounted to the wall, and If I'm not mistaken, it was the same thing our stair rails were. a long round wooden pole, with brackets that held it up. I am positive you can buy something like that at Lowe's. Just an idea, I'm picturing Santa in a tool belt. One could probably be fashioned out of PVC Pipe also.
