mugs
Sam Goody has been closing a lot of their stores and stuff has been on clearance for months now. At 30-40% off most of the stuff was STILL not a good deal because their prices are so bad to begin with, but I was just there today and everything is now 70-80% off. Lots of anime left at my store, along with some less popular CDs. I got an RF Modulator, The Godfather Part II, some DVD-based movie trivia game, and a bunch of RCA cables/RCA->Stereo coversion cables.

Still lots of anime DVDs in particular. Star Trek TNG sets for ~$40. X-Box accessories (cables and stuff). Lots of "special interest" type DVDs. CG480
I know the one in the town where I work is closing they had a portable DVD player for $100 but just was not sure about it....I know if it would not work I could not take it back also wanted a cord so I could plug it in and they did not have any left. Guess I might have to wait until BF.
mugs
A deal, is still a deal...Not when the "deal" price is higher than the REGULAR prices at other stores.
edubbrulez
Not when the "deal" price is higher than the REGULAR prices at other stores. It's all about context. I agree, that their regular prices are high. But their selection (use to be) better. If you needed a CD right now that best buy or CC didn't carry, then you might get it from them. If so, then their price would be the regular price, and any "deals" would apply. Erik
