GameStop Black Friday Ad Posted

Does it say what time GameStop opens?  I must have missed it.

Midnight on 11/29, it's on the banner across the top of the first page.

I see some good deals here ($30 for Battlefield 4, $40 for Assassin's Creed 4, $30 Playstation Plus 1 year cards, and more) but the prices aren't so unbelievably low that I couldn't see them matched or maybe beaten elsewhere. I think this is a good baseline though.

First of all, thanks for the ad. With that out of the way, now the bad. The ad is absolutely atrocious. Now the good. I expected this from Gamestop, and now you have the option of price-matching anything you absolutely need at Walmart or other places. I believe that you will see real deals on the PS3 and XBOX 360's from Walmart and Best Buy, so this ad can be picked clean for the matchable items and then largely forgotten. The only thing worth noting is the Battlefield 4 offer, which most of the kids will want. I played the beta, so it is a good buy, but please get it price-matched if you can.

One of the big things I am looking to get is the Disney Infinity figures at b1g1f.  I will not be able to price match this which is why i was asking about online times

It is still early. perhaps there will still be comparable offers.

Walmart should price match bogos:

We gladly match the price in the following types of ads:*
  • Buy one, get one free ads with a specified price
    • Example: Buy one for $2.49, get one free (BOGO)
  • Competitors' ads that feature a specific item for a specified price
  • Preferred shopping card prices for specific items that are in a printed ad
  • For fresh produce and meat items when the price is offered in the same unit type (lb. for lb.; each for each)

For those that don't understand how GS stops during major 'launch years', this is a very typical Black Friday ad for them for a launch year.

However, for me personally, 3 items stand out:

Splinter Cell blacklist for $24.99

1 Year of PS+ for $29.99 ( will be buying 2 if I can)

Zelda 3Ds limited bundle for $219.99

Hoping Amazon has all 3 for lightening deals, if not, off to Wal-Mart or Target I go:

I just happened to be browsing on another forum (CAG) and one of the members there noted that GameStop put out an updated version of their ad. That discussion (and pictures of the new ad) can be viewed here, http://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/322875-gamestop-new-black-friday-ad-changes-battlefield-4-2499-ghosts-4499/
