khkabowski Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 This is at Big Lots for $32 if you use the 20% off coupon this week, plus no shipping. Anybody have any reviews of this?
shopping4my3son Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 (edited) This is at Big Lots for $32 if you use the 20% off coupon this week, plus no shipping. Anybody have any reviews of this?Is there a Big Lots ad somewhere? I looked on Amazon and Googled some reviews. Some people complained that the doors do not stay on. Edit to add: I went to Big Lots and picked one up and used the 20% off coupon. It came to $33.xx w/tax. I think my 3 yr old will like this. Edited October 6, 2009 by shopping4my3son add info
shopping4my3son Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Reviews found on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-L9040-Elmos-Restaurant/product-reviews/B0015KTLZY/ref=cm_cr_dp_all_helpful?ie=UTF8&coliid=&showViewpoints=1&colid=&sortBy=bySubmissionDateDescending It's $77 on Amazon and from the reviews it looks like most people paid close to $100 for it. So I think $32 + tax at Big Lots is a good deal.
tyreejames Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 (edited) DS2 got 1 last year for Xmas; he loves it and still plays with it. DS6 will even go and play with it with him. I like it because I was able to get him a kitchen/restaurant without DH complaining about it being "girly". Edited October 8, 2009 by tyreejames
sabbie Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 We got this for $25 after Christmas at Walmart and have already sold ours at a yard sale this past weekend. My DS is 2 and just never got into it, maybe played with it on and off but wasn't something he played with much. We also have the Step 2 Grand Walk-in kitchen and he plays with that all the time so maybe the Elmo diner was a bit dull, I don't know. Even when we have playgroup here with 6 kids one of them might play with it for a bit but that was about it.
