I buy my daughters and husbands from Amazon, we also sell them back there too, get better money than selling them to the school.

I get all my son's books at either Amazon.com or Half.com. I've found both reliable and alot cheaper than the book store.

I have found great deals on ebay and half.com. I have never had an issue with any of the purchases.

We used ebay, half.com & amazon for my DDs. Saved a ton of $$! I've also seen good prices on Alibris.com.

Have you looked around the school? I have two in college and there is a used text book store a few blocks from campus. They were cheaper than at the school and my boys were able to get almost every book they needed there. We lucked out since the store was right off the freeway and we saw the sign.

 

I haven't shopped on this site but found this on a deal site (may have been on here - I don't remember) and saved it in my favorites. May be worth a look.....

I usually post a flyer on the campus bulletin boards asking for books. I also have a group of friends in the same program and we swap books when we can.
