I need a new flat iron, is there that much of a difference between the Chi and other less expensive ones?

i have a cheep one and i personally don't think it works 1/2 as good as the chi. JMOP

Yes! There is a major difference. I have a Paul Mitchell smoothing iron that is amazing. I will never go back. I also love my CHI. They last forever.
